Everyone has one. Real world actors trying to do their best, some..... really failing, others excelling.

I cast my vote for Married With Children

Partly because of Al's hand down his pants 75% of the time, and the "Psycho Dad" show

If we are talking sitcom, live action, I would say you can't go wrong with Sanford and Son.

It's a really awesome show, I'm glad my parents turn it on every once and a while.

If we are talking animated sitcoms... Does The Critic count?

WIKI Edit: Apparently, it is not, but it lists Clerks: The Animated Series, so I vote that.

Cheers or Frasier.

more current examples, i think modern family is okay and 30 rock have its moments, but for the most parts i go to animation and movies for my laughs.

I would say one of them is definitely Popular, it's sort of a situational dramedy that pokes a lot of fun at 90's teen dramas.

SOMEBODY GIVE THIS GUY A MEDAL! (caps necessary)

Also Monty Python and Fawlty Towers have got to be my other all time favourites!

It's a shame though because none of my friends have heard of these, I'm the only one who has every seen these great shows. Maybe because my dad loved all of them, so he introduced me to them.

I tend to go through bouts of watching one sitcom pretty much exclusively. Most recently, it's been How I Met Your Mother. The show is LEGEN... wait for it... DARY!

Others I have obsessed myself over have been:
-Everybody Loves Raymond
-Frasier
-M*A*S*H
-The Drew Carey Show (up to the point where Drew starts his own band... jumped the shark BAD at that point)
-Malcolm in the Middle
-Scrubs
-Will and Grace
