Just a quick question who is your favorite sociopath/psychopath whether it is in books, movies, games or some other form tell us who it is and why.
I chose Max from Sam & Max since that little sociopath is always making me laugh by finding the violence in everything

After him my votes go to HK-47 who is close enough and Dexter for their wit, charm and interesting ways of looking at murder.

Dexter Morgan. I like that he "takes out the trash." And my favorite thing is that he doesn't just arbitrarily kill people. He makes sure they are guilty before he puts them on the ocean floor.

Probably Benedict Cumberbatch's portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, that would be my favourite sociopath.

Hannibal Lecter from his 'Silence of the Lambs' and 'Red Dragon'. From both the books and the movies...

Unless you count Larfleeze, then definitely Larfleeze. He is greedy to the point of insanity =D

Either: Benedict Cumberbatch's portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in the BBC's miniseries last year (ninja'd. Damn)
Sheldon Cooper, of the Big Bang Theory
Alex Mercer, of Prototype. That last one because it's impossible to play that game without having awesome moments.

I have more than probably healthy of these.

Dexter Morgan (dexter)

Being the kind of person who would like to see Nazis gassed and racists lynched, dexter's vigilante justice suits me just fine.

Sylar (heroes)

He's just such a gorram badass.

Alice lidell (Alice/Alice madness returns)

Does teetering on the edge of psychosis count? If so, Alice is definately a favourite.

Simon phoenix (demolition man)

This 90s Stallone action fest is cheesy as hell, but Wesley snipes steals the show as a delightfully mad criminal released from cryogenic sleep in a violence free future that has no idea how to deal with him.

And my favourite, Hannibal lector (silence of the lambs/red dragon/Hannibal. No there weren't any other films. Hannibal rising? What the hell are you on about?)

"hello clariiiiice". That is all.

Fictional favourite would be Hannibal Lecter in SotL.

For real-life no-one should have a favourite, but most interesting would be Pol Pot.

Vincent from Collateral

Not only is it the best character Tom Cruise has ever played but he's one of the most amazing bad guy's ever.

Good ol' Kefka. He probably was many a child's introduction to sociopathy.

HK-47 definately

HK-47: "Answer: Simply that the distinction between 'killer' and 'killee' be a clear one. I cannot kill of my own volition, naturally."
Revan: "I don't think 'killee' is a word."
HK-47: "Expletive: Damn it, master, I am an assassination droid... not a dictionary!"

Also meatbag.

Season one Dexter. (After that he becomes less and less sociopath-y) He's also very relatable(which some may find strange).

Ugh... damn you. 'I'm a high functioning sociopath, do your research!'

Can't wait for season 2, since Moriarty is delightfully unpredictable.

Can't think of that many that I actually 'like'...

Izaya Orihara of 'Durarara!!'.
Crazy dude...
See, I so prefer Heiwajima Shizuo (partially for the name, which is ironic to say the least) and how straight forward his personality is...
