The only music I specifically remember from a video game was the sound track to eve online. I think that was more about the whole package then just the song (ambient techno stuff), you had the sound of the engines, the voice of your comp and the visuals adding to the music.

Not my favorite track btw, just the closest thing to an example I could find.
