I loved the superhero one (I don't know the name) but I thought it was so funny when he was like "Where'd he go?" and then cartmen comes out and is like "I'm over here now" etc etc.

"Butters very own episode", because it was so Butters heavy.

Out of the more conventional episodes I would say "Major Boobage"... or maybe "Awesom-O"... oh there are too many to decide.

Make Love Not Warcraft - as a gamer, I can't not pick this one. Plus it saved my social life by making me see how boring that game is when I saw it two days into the free trial.

Whats your favorite South Park episode and do you think the show has gotten less entertaining over the years?

finely somebody else thinks what i think!

yes =[

i pick what seasons are my favorite so basicly from...1 til 11 but my all time fave episode has to be when they are just being kids and they don't go into big issues or its trying to be too serious.

its one of the shows thats starting to have 2 stories going on in one episode like family guy...i just wish it would go back to its old charm.

My favorite episode is "Hooked on Phonics Monkey" because of how accurately it portrays homeschooling.

Without any hesitation, the one where they enter the little Chinese woman in the UFC. I lose my shit every time I see Cartman fire up that assault rifle.
Wing - Season 9, Ep3
She exists btw www.myspace.com/wingofficial
her greeting message slays me everytime I hear it.

On-topic I loved the Imaginationland 3 parter, and if not my favourite it's definately in my top ten.. along side More crap..

HHmmm... so many. Probably any episode centred around Randy such as Over Logging because Randy is hands down the best character. "I thought this was America!"

The World of Warcraft one, simply because everything they say in that episode is completely true and utter gold.
It felt rather confronting to be able to understand everything the kids were talking about. And even correcting them in my head.

"Mocking blow is useless in pvp!"

Nice original post by the way, no opinion from you I guess.

If you can pick only 1 episode out of 100+, you've either seen very few or you're very simple.

I hate pick 1 and only 1 people. You make me cry inside.

And no, it hasn't become less entertaining. Trey Parker deals with real issues in an entertaining way. For both the people who crave meanings within meanings, an ultra-deep analysis of social trends, religion, ethics, random piss taking of celebs and for the people who can only remember as far as a year or two. (Looking at some of the answers here).

In no order:

The New Terrance & Philip Movie Trailer
Chicken Lover
Super Best Friends
Chinpokemon
Grey Dawn
Trapped In The Closet
Good Times With Weapons
Butt Out
Goobacks
Die Hippy Die
Butter's Own Episode
Free Willzyx
Sexual Harassment Panda
Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset
Red Badge Of Gayness
Are You There God? It's Me, Jesus
Scott Tenorman Must Die
Christian Rock Hard
Terrance & Philip: Not Without My Anus
Here Comes The Neighbourhood (Yahtzee's a fan if you've seen his 50 cent review)
The Death Camp Of Tolerance
Fat Butt & Pancake Head
Christmas In Canada
Woodland Critter Christmas
Wing

(more recent ones)
Over Logging
Canada On Strike
With Apologies To Jesse Jackson
Return Of Chef
Make Love Not Warcraft

Are ALL episodes that stand out from their respective seasons.

Okay, so I don't expect everyone to have seen all the episodes as many times as I have. I'm simply trying to get the idea out that you can't possibly pick A favourite episode above and beyond the rest.

Also, I'm not saying everyone should post a wall of all the episodes they thought were awesome like I have, but something more than (para-phrased) "that episode that was on 2 weeks ago that people are still talking about! Aren't I so cooooooooooooool and up to date?"

(EDIT: I've probably missed a few episodes out of that list, I was making the list on the fly.)

(EDIT 2: If anyone quotes me, PLEASE snip it. Don't be a tool and quote the whole thing!)

The Lord of the Rings spoof was great too - "Backdoor Sluts 9?!"

And Woodland Critter Christmas - "Hail Satan!"

And when Cartman makes a Christian rock band - "Dammit, Token, you're black, of course there's a bass guitar in your basement and you know how to play it!"

Either "Make Love, Not Warcraft", or "Fun With Weapons" (the one where the kids get ninja weapons and it switches back and forth between regular and anime-style) - I really like the episodes that are visually interesting as well as hilariously written.
This. Definitely this.

The show may have changed over the last 13 years, but it still puts out excellent episodes, each one makes me laugh so I cannot complain one bit.

The newest one was actually really funny. My favorite episode is either "Chef Aid" or the Civil War one. Every time those episodes come on, I watch the whole thing. Well, except today, when I skipped over it (Civil War ep) on my tape. I feel ashamed.
