Now i didn't have much experience with G1 (i watched a few of th'cartoons as a kid, but it didn't stick to memory) so i may lose some credentials...my only experience is with the BayBot movies, the first Cybertron game (haven't played the 2nd one yet), and the epic cartoon that is Transformers Prime (tried Beast Wars, it put me to sleep)...
BayBot: I have to go just as who was coolest to me...since they didn't bother to hash out any kinda personality with 'em in those movies...dammit...but i'd have to go with Sideswipe:

'Far as T is concerned, i gotta go with my girl Arcee...for 2 reasons:
1) I gotta thing for strong women
2) She's (to me anyway) the most complex/interesting character in that show (granted i've only seen ssn 1 (just finished it actually...wish Netflix would hurry up with Ssn 2)
I've liked Bumblebee in every generation i've seen him in...maybe i shoulda just put him, but i figured that'd be predictable...so yeah, there ya go...
and no, i don't have a gorram 'Con on my list...i'm True-Blue Autobot!

From the Autobots: Computron, the combined form of the Technobots, this guy is just fantastic, always stating the survival percentage of each opponent that he is fighting:
As far as the Decepticons, I would have to go with: Menasor. The Stunticons are a team, but they are all murdering psychopaths with nothing but distain for each other. They even hate their own team-leader who has to bully them into action. Their combined form, Menasor, is a bloodthirsty maniac who suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder, because every seperate Stunticon pulls him in a different direction. This guy makes Bruticus look like a well-behaved and intelligent chap.
I have a thing for Combiners, the idea that the better the team functions as a whole, the higher the performance of their combined form is, just appeals to me. It just brings out so many interesting possibilities. Even though it's mostly the Decepticon combined forms that are shown with personality and functionality problems, the Autobot versions are equally disadvantaged.
Computron takes forever with decision making because all of his individual parts want to have a say.
Defensor can be a force of destruction, when he focusses so much on saving one individual that he wrecks everything around the objective just to complete his mission.
Superion has two simple goals that dominate his every action: one, to destroy the Decepticons and two, to protect others. His thoughts are a combination of all five Aerialbots distilled to their respective cores, with anything not relating to his primary function being suppressed. Because of his single-minded attitude, the other Autobots find Superion to be distant and unfeeling.

Didn't like the Prime version of him. He seemed to be of the teenager idea of cool, being a loner and ignoring authority for no reason. Hell, the episode that introduced him even showed him completely screwing up attempts at being cool.

The Transformers Prime iteration of the Soundwave is my favorite. Silent, facilitates communication on the ship, but never gets involved in fighting unless necessary. Also, fiercely loyal to Megatron.
Come to think of it, The Prime version of Megatron is my favorite iteration of the character. I've seen the Generation 1 iteration as a kid and I thought the gun was cool. When I got older and put some thought into it, I realize how much of a joke he was. He never did any effective leadership and never demonstrated why he should be a leader. He was not a good fighter either, who would rather retreat than fight.
The Prime Megatron is a great leader and a great fighter as well. He does not do tactics, but he is capable of formulating a long term plan. Also, he understands his resources and uses them to his benefit. What makes him better is that he has a memory and knows what his enemies are capable of doing. He is never shocked when he loses, unlike the G1 Megatron. He gets pissed, but is never shocked.

Right there with you! I didn't remember Warpath all that well from the original series, but as soon as he showed up in WFC and started saying "Ker-Blamm! Ker-Poww!" I couldn't wipe the grin off my face.Trooper924 said:
