Okay, I think by now alot of us know about the website TV Tropes, right? how it's a site that shows people how there are certain elements used in certain parts of media? I even saw a few people add tropes as part of their vocabulary.

I once later learned that Tropes used to be a term used by some professional writers and filmmakers, only now it's a popular staple to the public eye thanks to this site, and I think that's doing something right. I even showed it to my high school creative writing teacher just before my last day of my senior year was over, and he loved it! saying he can use it for his class, it was helped by the fact I showed the site's article of The Road, one of his favorite books.

Anyway, does anyone here have a trope they like the most?

for me, it's the Toy Ship, which for those that don't know, is the trope term for how 2 kids who are clearly below the age of puberty that offcially get together in a romantic relationship.

The reason being is that I don't think it's used often enough, which is a shame, 'cause I find toy ship romances, quite frankly, to be quite adorable, and I think it's a nice change of pace for other romances I've seen, most of them were more teen and adult based, which I think depending on the plot, can sometimes be considered somewhat generic. With Toy Shippings, however, there's alot more potential on display, such as how Parents would react to their Prepubescent kids forming in offcial romantic relationship, how older or younger siblings would react, how the relationship would be formed and held together depending on the upbringings they have, there's alot you can look into!

Well, Crowning Moments (of all kinds) are a bit too obvious/easy, so aside from that I'd say Affably Evil villains can really go a long way towards making a particular work interesting.

Gotta love that High Octane Nightmare Fuel. Just read the subsection for W40k, it's hilarious.
