Mass Effect and Halo had great soundtracks. I liked Bioshock's too; it fit the atmosphere of the game.

Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata and Fable all have good soundtracks.

For me though, Tales of Vesperia has a great soundtrack - not because there are a ton of memorable songs, but because every song sets the mood so well, and work in a large number of situations - even when only supporting text bubbles.

The redwings theme from FFIV or my personal favourite from the franchise Terras theme from FFVI

but the two themes that stuck out to my are the intro and willy stage 1 from Mega Man 2

also the metal gear solid 2 theme

Serenity- From Resident Evil 4, (the song that plays when your by the merchant and typewriter and all is safe).

Also, the new stuff from Demon's Souls. Some of the most depressing and dark music for one of the most depressing and dark (but still insanely fun) game ever.

Twilight Princess for the goodness-of-fit with the game.
