By lightning weapon, I take it you mean the Arc Welder? It is actually meant to be used against other people. Reference it's particular usefulness against EDF drones hiding in vehicles, especially the gunners.

Though I often just used it against random soldiers anyway, much more satisfying than using any of the more conventional weapons.

The knife in CoD5:WaW, Nazi Zombie mode. It has the best stabbing noises and feels so satisfying, but sucks ballz by level 7 or so.

My favourite would have to be the Blutsauger off TF2. It shocks/irritates people so much when they get killed by a medic. Its especially satisfying if its a powerful class like the Heavy or Pyro and/or they have a headset.

I liked the Single Action Army in MGS3. Sure, it was bad, but when you can headshot a guy without even aiming at him, it's worth it.

Beating Resident Evil: Survivor with Handgun A because you do not need anything else, and you have three times the amount of ammo necessary for the entire game.

The submachine guns in Cod4. Theyre weaker than most of the guns in the game so when you get a 10-streak with one while everyone else has assult rifles and snipers it feels pretty good.

sadly ive forgotten the game, it was from the glorious 90's and the gun you started whit made the glorious sound "KABABABABOOOOOOOOOOMMOTHERFUCKER!!!!!!!!!!!!" yet it took 3 headshots to kill the monsters at lvl 1 on easy difficulty.

The 32. pistol in Fallout 3, it looks cool and sounds much better than the 10mm pistol. Shame it sucks harder than a nuclear powered vacum cleaner.
At least there's a nifty unique version in the Pitt that's actually decent.

I agree, but I'm on the PC, so I can make it do 10,000+ damage.

The Pistols in Mass Effect, they were extremly accurate, which compensated for there relatively low power.

dude. i dont know about you... but until i got the exploding rounds for my shotgun i NEVER used anything other than that pistol. it was the only gun you could hit anything with. and per 'time period' it did more damage than anything else. which irritated me. its not that that gun was overpowered its that the others were UNDERPOWERED.

The flare pistol from Far Cry 2. You'd be hard pressed to hit someone dead on, but it was worth it to see them go up in smoke XD
