completely. i noticed that too. even the unique one what was it... eugene? it STILL was pretty much worthless. oh and don't forget about the zhu rong or whatever it was called... sweet ass gun. shoot your enemies with liquified lead projectiles. didn't kill very quickly but was seriously satisfying.NoDamnNames said:
i like the double barreled shotgun from the point lookout DLC for fallout 3.... it don't do much damage but it sure is a good laugh to dress as a cowboy and go round blasting people's faces off with it...

The Famas in CS: Source. Burst mode will put you in headshot city. That said, it's a pretty cheap gun (literally and tactically) and most people ignore its relative shot weakness.
The "stick" in Fable is pretty funny. Oh wait, you said gun. That weak pistol in Half-life 2 was not bad. Still prefer the magnum though.

The laser pistol from Opposing Force. It's just satisfying to turn on the laser, get it on your enemy, and shoot them. It gives me the same warm and fuzzy feeling I get from sniping.
Also, forgot the exact name (G[some numbers]), but this one scoped but rather short submachine gun in Call of Duty 4. I loved it since this one mission where a helicopter was following me and it was the only gun accurate enough to take it out.

I'm was a massive fan of the plasma pistol on the first Halo. Strangely, I was also extremely good with it, if I do say so myself. I nicknamed it the "roomclearer" as it allowed me to unleash some berserker like attacks on entire rooms of legendary level elites and come out on top, simply by utilising the high fire rate if you can fire it fast enough. Its not the first time I've taken upwards of two legendary elites on with enemies supporting them and come out on top.
That was a "lethal joke weapon" in Halo 1. My favourite weak weapon was the omniwrench in Ratchet and Clank, and I often insisted on using it when I should probably have been resorting to heavier weapons. Needless to say I died a lot, but I just liked using it so much. I also often find myself using weak weapons, in games like Mass Effect and Saints Row 2 I use the pistol instead of the rifles due to familiarity with pistol weapons and a fondness for pistols going back to my Halo 1 days. I guess I just have a fondness for weak but early weapons I can get an insane amount of practice with.

The Ruger Mk-1 from The Specialists. The most worthless gun in the game, it is just so very satisfying to actually kill somebody with it.
