Favorite Weapon from Fallout (series)?

Honestly? The Chinese Pistol.

It sucked ass, but I found it much better looking and much nicer sounding than the standard pistol, or any of the revolvers, to the point where I was seriously considering downloading a mod that upped its damage so that I could use it.

The Ranger Sequoia. Simply the greatest handgun if you ask me; ornate and powerful. Also a pain in the arse to get a hold of

The MIRV. Dear god what a comically overpowered weapon. But my favourite reasonably functional weapon is 'This Machine' from NV. It's an M1 Garand.

That was an amazing weapon. Powerful, accurate, decent fire rate and easy to repair. The only weakness was the lack of ammo.

... Oh, what's that? I can reform my useless ammo into different calibres? Heheheheheheh...

I used the Lincoln Repeater until I got the Backwater Rifle, simply because ammo was much more plentiful. I do love me my silences lightened sniper though. I was one shotting black armored rangers. It was my assault rifle for the assault on the damn. My armor was trashed by the end, so I was wearing my underwear, a First Recon Beret, and aviator sunglasses by the time I beat NV. XD

I also really liked the All American, but it lacks punch against heavily armored enemies. The Anti Materiel rifle was good too, but ammo was expensive and heavy. I also loved my scoped hunting rifle. Took out all of the deathclaws in the Quarry with it at level 5-6. I know I was under level 10 at least. I went in with 250 rounds. I left with 22. XD

By the time I hit endgame in NV i found that I had been using the tri-beam laser rifle pretty much constantly. I'm not entirely sure why but it was just way better than anything else I had. Really The only other thing I needed was a sniper rifle for long range and that was it The laser rifle was particularly effective with the perk that made killed enemies explode possibly and often causing a chain reaction. That was fun!

Anti-Materiel Rifle; insta-kill everything except a couple of bug critters, but most die instantly or soon after, especially with incendiary or match-load rounds.

I have two. The gauss rifle and Anti-materiel rifle. Gauss rifle knocks the enemy down with a critical. Anti-materiel kills pretty much everything with a sneak critical

Woodie Guthrie rocks... So does Arlo.
My favorite concept weapon from the series is definitely the MIRV. That?s the one you show your friends (at the capitol building battle) when they ask to see Fallout 3.
My favorite practical weapon was the Alien Atomizer. The one on the mothership, behind the locked door that gets tons of shots in VATS.

Anyone remember the Gauss Rifle from the old Fallout games. That was my favourite. The old Gauss Rifle was much better than the one in Fallout 3. I still remember the Gauss Rifle ripping enemies in half on a critical shot, so much fun. I'll try and find a video with it, since I dont expect that many of you have played the old fallout games
