This one. It's not the most useful or powerful weapon but there is nothing quite like ripping someone's head off and nailing it to the wall in slow motion.

The <a href=http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Pancor_Jackhammer_%28Fallout_2%29>Pancor Jackhammer: One of the first and arguably the finest automatic shotguns ever produced by man. It looks like something out of science fiction that was sadly doomed by silly bureaucracy. The company that produced the weapon presented it to the US Government who spent so long testing it (during which time the production company was unable to actually sell any of the several hundred of the weapon they had produced) that the unfortunately folded. It was one of the best small guns in Fallout 2 and was able to shred most enemies with ease. The burst fire was truly brutal and only the most durable groups could stand against a foe wielding such a thing.

Pancor Jackhammer.

Although the way I often played Fallout 2 I would say it was enemy "accidents". Finesse + Jinxed was so amusing.

Honourable mention to the Solar Scorcher however.

The deathclaw gauntlet. Rip the hands off a baby deathclaw, strap them onto yourself with a leather belt, then tear up the wasteland like your Freddy himself. All you need is the stealth hat, and a red and white christmas sweeter.

Lincoln Repeater. I really like rifles, but mainly because I would dress my character as Abe Lincoln and kick some ass.

I'd have to say the Xuanlong assault rifle and A3-21's plasma rifle, since they are by far the weapons that I've used the most when playing Fallout 3. I've just started playing New Vegas though, so I might come across some new favourites.

Honourable mention to the Dart Gun and especially to the Rock-It Launcher. Cracking the skull of a raider with a plate or a bent tin can was awesome!

Gobi Campaign scout rifle. I found that gun near the start of the game. Didn't drop it the whole game.
How'd you get 100 Lockpicking so fast?
XD

I use a mod that allows you to use explosives to blow locks. Took three tries berfore I got it open without destroying the rifle.

Also. Anyone familiar with the space warper?

THE HEAVY INCINERATOR

because lower case letters just don't do it justice, because of it's fire and splash damage, it's looooong range, it's fast reload speed, it's easy to find ammo, it's great DPS to ammo ratio,

and because no matter who you are, you look like a badass with one in your hands,

I have only played fallout 3, but my favorite weapon was the A1-23 Plasma rifle. That rifle is so powerful, dropped most things under level 20 with one or two shots.

It turns out that if you actually just want to aim the weapon yourself, you can get by with having lower skills in weapons for quite awhile. Having 75 in lockpicking by the time you hit Primm is handy as a hard locked safe has one of the better early weapons you can get your hands on: the unique 357 Magnum called Lucky. One can easily be level 5 or 6 by the time they restore Primm's Sheriff and if you have a high INT score and you tagged lockpicking you could reasonably get the 50 45 points you'd need in short order.
