Favorite Weapon/s in Fallout 3 (including DLCs)

In all honesty, I use the Hunting Rifle for most of my fights, so that's probably my favorite weapon. Or Ol' Painless, now that I've acquired that.

They're all pretty sick, though. I've had Fallout 3 since it came out, but am only now really starting to get into finding all the awesome weapons. And man are they awesome. I haven't had a chance to use it, but I created the Railway Rifle last I played. I'm pretty stoked to use it on some Deathclaws, just to see how it fares.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the Dart Gun.

Shooting my dad after I rescued him from Tranquility Lane with it made him permanently crippled, right up until he died. I'm sorry, but watching him hobble around the Capitol Wasteland was hilarious, especially because of the way he ran with his legs crippled.

Also, of course, it's just all-around useful.

Ol' Painless is awesome, since you can find spare parts from most any super-mutant.

Though Vengence has to be the best weapon that is practical (PS3, so no bought-out DLC for me). The MIRV is too absurd and finding ammo is near impossible. Vengence ammo is still hard to find, but still possible. Does over 100 damage at full repair and fires a ton or shots at once. Not much can last more than a few seconds of Vengence.
And I think Fawkes uses it, so that makes it even more awesome.

Every beam of the Metal Blaster crits independantly. Since critting also applies a flat damage bonus, it all stacks up to VERY large amounts. Each beam gets +27 damage when it crits, with 9 beams it comes down to 243 bonus damage. Add to this the regular damage AND the crit multiplier AND a few Perks (Better Crits and such), and you get to two-shot a Feral Ghoul Reaver. The Perforator doesn't come close. Still, the Terrible Shotgun is better, but I just like Enegry Weapons.

I was all about the deathclaw gauntlet. Nothing was more satisfying for me than busting off a few bandit's heads with that sucker. I also liked spiked knuckles just because the paralyzing palm always made me laugh.

The Rock-it Launcher, because killing a super mutant with a delightful assortment of coffee mugs, books, and other crap is just fun.

And the Railway rifle for its limb-liberating ability and the "choo choo" sound.

Tesla rifle is pretty fun. And i have to say the auto axe plus VATS is pretty good....against trogs at least. But i think that my favorite would have to be the heavy incinerator.

Shishkebob is an old favorite. I do like the Tesla Cannon's plain OMGWTF factor of it's damage though. I eventually switched to the Shocksword from Operation Anchorage to replace my beloved flaming sword.

Favorite ranged weapon of any kind? Chinese Assault Rifle. They don't let you down, easy to repair, and do a damn load of damage if small guns is leveled up.
