Thanks for the recommendations everyone, there's a lot of great channels here!

I thought of a few more to throw in:

Game Sack - These two guys are adorably lame (adorkable, they call it?), but lovers of retro games and retro-homage games should find their overviews and insights into gaming's console history to be informative and cheesily funny.

I gotta second MatthewMatosis, I can't believe I forget to mention him and I think it's because he's been gone a few months. Very in depth reviews focusing on the design and mechanical aspects of games, if he isn't a developer then he's got my pre-order when he decides to be one.

DidYouKnowGaming has some informative videos with guest Youtubers about game series, consoles, and other topics.

Errant Signal - Can be accused of being pretentious, and the games he's covered recently seem more esoteric than the previous one, but he's a really intelligent guy that offers thoughtful and understated critique on the games he covers. Best for those who've played the game in question, as the in depth critique and discussion becomes bathed in spoilers.

I'm calling out MrBtongue! If you're reading this, I'm still subscribed to you, waiting for more. Please come back if you can! I still go back and watch his ME3 ending analysis sometimes.

It deeply saddens me that a CTRL-F for VideoGamer didn't bring any results.

VideoGamerTV: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR1wCXM9e7NshYfonwa5BAg

Has some of the best video game related humor I have ever witnessed. If you haven't heard of any of their work yet, I recommend starting with The Miller Report and try to watch them in order from oldest to newest because later episodes are very reliant on previous ones.

I'm not going to describe their channel to you, you deserve to see it for yourself, although I must admit their channel isn't very well organized. 7 Reasons Why... is another great series of theirs worth checking out.
Eventually people will know the score, then they'll know the truth.

Anyway, plenty of mine have already been said so I'll just add ex-Escapist Miracle Of Sound, ThatOneVideoGamer (The Completionist) and NorthernLion as recommendations.

Because lolgamesjournalist.

His lets play of Metal Gear Solid 3 is pretty great as well.

Definitely a favorite.

Gaming Sphere: Jim Sterling, Game Grumps, Errant Signal, Chuggaaconroy and The RunawayGuys, YuriofWind, ProJared, Satchbag's Goods, and a few more focused on TF2/Steam Games like STAR_ and Jerma985

Others: PostModernJukebox is a channel/band that takes more modern tracks and recreates them into often older styles like Jazz, Ragtime, Doo Wop, etc.

TeamFourStar- Nuff said

Jay Smooth- I just want this guy to make more videos, he's just so on point in many of his videos, and I think he's actually one of my oldest youtube subscriptions as well.

And then just like...a good amount of the people from Channel Awesome who also have YouTube channels.

I enjoy binge watching Game Grumps
Primarily this, but their are a few others I regularly check in on.

Game Theory, Extra Credits, DidYouKnowGaming, AVGN, VSauce3, Jimquisition, and Smosh (just for Honest Game Trailers) keep my gaming news, trivia, comedy, opinion pieces, and real-world applications at the ready.

Cinemasins, Screen Junkies (mostly for Honest Trailers), Film Theory, DidYouKnowMoves, and MovieBob do the same for film and television.

Then off to the side I have TenSecongSongs and ADoseOfBuckley for music, and Noah Antwiler's Counter Monkey series for table-top gaming tales.

...Damn, I follow a lot of people. Where am I finding all of this time!?

Alphaomegasin: he's a bit hyperbolic at times but his rants are fun to watch

Kitetales: an unmatched force of positive energy

The Dex: Pokemon trivia

Gaijin Goombah: cultural analysis of games

Exinthevatican: Vinesauce Joel: its Joel from Vinesauce I recommend his 3d modeling abominations(he also has a full streams channel but I don't know if that's for everybody)

Lord Karnage: He really is on a quest to review practically anything video game related and has a very positive outlook on things(as long as its not a game.com)

Lazy Game Reviews: If its a computer older than the year 2000(released in the US) this guy probably has one and reviews games for it, he also reviews stuff from the sims, I recommend checking out his "oddware" videos to start off

Kinamania: Watch his "Dendy Chronicles" videos its in Russian but it has subtitles, its about the bootleg version of the Nintendo sold in Russia

Engineerguy: He breaks down how things are engineered and why they are engineered that way, I recommend his video on soda cans

Videogamedunkey: I'd like to reiterate him He does great humor because you really really never know what to expect from him, he's kinda like that sorta annoying but amusing kid you were friends with in elementary school.

This next one is really out there and I only recommend it if you want to watch video games that are worse than anything you can get on steam or be charged money for.

Rich "Lowtax" Kyanka - Gaming Garbage: He lets plays really really bad gamemaker games, I recommend starting with either "Dedactive Eventa 1"(no I didn't misspell that) or "Dontrel the Dolphin" avoid "Beestmeel" though its just too insane, for anybody.

There's so many already mentioned that I absolutely love, but I'll restrict myself to the ones I enjoy that have yet to be mentioned.
I hope you find time to enjoy them too.

NerdCubed. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKab3hYnOoTZZbEUQBMx-ww
A letsplayer.
At his best when trying to playing simulator games but still fun no matter the genre.

TheFullSauce. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2_IYqb1Tc_8Azh7rByedPA
A log of the livestreams of VineSauce and links to his fellow streamers.
Funny guy who gained attention from running 'corruptions' of old games, but remains entertaining in his own right and has a fairly decent singing voice.
he has many streamers from his site all of whom manage to amuse, especially Joel who has his own log of streams on
Exitthevatican. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRNCUBq676nUhXyy8AJzD5w

UpUpDownDown. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIr1YTkEHdJFtqHvR7Rwttg
A letsplay channel by Xavier Woods.
That's right.
New Day's Xavier Woods.
The Wrassler.
He and a bunch of his buddies play games, with frequent guest appearances by other superstars from the WWE.

Mike Jeavons. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0Jkqm37e5cmDZCp7y6BDDA
A british person.
Reviews terrible sequels to movies and tat bought/sent to him from infomercials.
Sometimes the infomercial tat turns out to be actually good.
Mostly it either causes pain or falls apart in his hands, but he keeps it amusing.

For gaming news and comment: Totalbiscuit

For comedy: Game Grumps

For a little of both: Angry Joe Show

I also love several League of Legends channels, including Keyori and Lilypichu.

Jim Sterling is awesome.

I think the whole Pewdiepie vs. Markiplier debate is ridiculous and they are both talented.

In no particular order:

Totalbiscuit - Lots of good PC gaming content. Also his hearthstone gimmick videos are very entertaining.

Mighty Jingles - World of tanks, War thunder and World of Warships. Lots of Ws with this british gentleman.

Nerdcubed - Let´s play channel, lots of personality.

Red letter media - Movie commentators. Home of the famous Plinkett star wars reviews.

Vice media - They make small documentaries about oddities from around the world .

Sargon of Akkad: I guess you could call him a social commentator/critic. Has a weekly series called "This Week In Stupid", where he reports on headlines from around the world of bafflingly stupid shit - mostly things from people trying to change society in horrible ways. Not exactly comedy, but I find him insightful and funny.

Game Theory + Film Theory: Just two fun shows that over-analyze my favorite pop culture mediums - and over-analyze them in intelligent ways, father than blathering "what-if's" all the time.

Extra History: I stopped watching Extra Credits a long time ago, but their weekly history series is the best thing they've ever done. They even go out of their way to devote a whole episode per chapter (about 1 in 7 videos) to correct and point out things they got wrong while making the prior videos. They aren't always spot-on and make a few minor mistakes, but they acknowledge them directly every time; I respect integrity.

Explosm Entertainment: Cyanide and Happiness, animated. Sometimes the jokes fall flat, other times, my sides cringe and I can't breathe.

The Rageaholic: I don't quite like how vulgar he is most of the times, at least towards almost everyone he is talking about, but his presentations are nonetheless well-spoken and his concepts well-argued.

NISLT: Mostly a channel for Team Fortress 2 replays that are edited with character voiceclips and speakonia narration. If you like Team Fortress 2, there's all kinds of hilarious videos. If you don't like Team Fortress 2 or aren't very familiar with it, I'm sure the channel would completely fall flat for your interests.
