Right okay i'll level with you, i know im going to get an acoustic guitar for Christmas (mainly cause i bought it myself) and as excited as i am i usually play electric so i dont know many acoustic songs and thus im need some inspiration = P

So topic for discussion, what acoustic songs are you guys listening too atm? Which acoustic songs never fail to pick u up when ur down and which ones just sound awesome? Im digging little lion man by mumford and sons atm. Its awesome, what about you?

Neutral Milk Hotel is probably the greatest acoustic band ever. In an Aeroplane Over the Sea would be the album to look at.

Some of these:

I know the latter 2 have classical guitar in them, but it would still be impressive if you could learn them on acoustic right?

The only band I've heard, that I think is better unplugged, acoustic.

Paramore is pretty good acoustic.

Solitary Shell by Dream Theater

I don't really listen to too many acoustic songs but this is what immediately came to mind.

The live version of Hotel California from the Hell Freezes Over tour is great.

Not to mention 8 different guitars are being played throughout the song

I know you mentioned Mumford & Sons already, but they're jsut too god for me to resist mentioning again.

Also, This song by Zakk Wylde is nothing short of brilliant. Not sure if it counts as aucoustic, but it's acoustic for Zakk Wylde :p
