All time and current are very different things for me. What may be my current favorite album now will be something I've put towards the back of the "albums I like" list. I honestly don't know if I have an all time favorite album. My opinions on my music are so ever-changing that picking something as definite as an "all-time favorite" seems ridiculous to me. I can tell you some albums that have not necessarily been my favorite all the time, but I love and have never changed my opinion on:
Where the Sun Never Sets by A Global Threat would be an example of this, as would Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness by the Smashing Pumpkins. I feel bad including greatest hits sort of deals but The Definitive Simon and Garfunkel has always had that sort of effect on me.

I also don't feel bad saying that the Princess Mononoke soundtrack is my all time favorite soundtrack and may contain my favorite song of all time.

There is a tonne I have not touched on. I love so much music, and to put some above others is stupid to me. I haven't even mentioned Chick Corea or Philip Glass yet which betrays the very nature of my taste in music.

Shit... I... okay my response is too long already. See ya next time.

I don't listen to all that much licensed music... Probably Americana by The Offspring. Love that album.

Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd.

I could listen to that album on repeat forever.
I actually have an mp3 of it that's about 43 minutes long, the entire album, and I do in fact do this.

Favorite album, there's plenty to list, but, I'll just go with Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits.

I was actually wondering how long the mods would let you get away with that for.

As for me, I'm going with a compolaton album called Radiodread. It's a reggae version of Ok Computer by Radiohead and I absolutely love it.
Yeah I'm surprised I got away with it for so long too.
Did they lock your thread then?

Also, another avatar? Or did the other one lose its comic appeal after you got yelled at by the mods?

Above the Weeping World by Insomnium. It's heavy while being beautiful at the same time!

Also my favorite album is of course: Automatic For The People - R.E.M.
Definitely this. I absolutely love that album.

It has such a unique sound, and it was so different from R.E.M.'s usual stuff; I really admire them for trying something new and making it work so damn well. It's a pretty dark album, to be honest, and, at the risk of sounding pretentious, a lot of the songs are quite haunting. Aside from the fact that the music is fantastic, the lyrics are really deep as well: it deals with love, loneliness, family, and suicide, amongst other things. It's a brilliant album.
