This scene from Under the red hood was very good I thought knowing how everything turns out.

That brought a tear once you know the context. Batman animated has so many really heartbreaking moments. Especially Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.

Any of the moments from this episode. They really picked the perfect voice actor for such a character.
In fact, nearly half of the moments in this ENTIRE SERIES are favorites of mine. Courage the Cowardly Dog had such a powerful way of delivering pure nightmare fuel to children, and they managed to get away with it for 4 long seasons too. I think it's more than partly responsible for horror being my favorite genre.
It also had a good occasional dose of mentally scarring psychological terror (See Below)

RUNNER UP:
I never saw this on TV, but I really like it. Not only because I love that song, but because the visual style is so surreal, especially for an old cartoon.
And the fact that the long-legged thing is actually voiced by Cab Calloway helps.

Attention Escapist users:

Spoiler tags SAVE LIVES! Use em.

OT: I always enjoy watching this movie from time to time. The last fight is damn good.

Damn right. I love that movie, and would watch it again right now--if I'm not going to see Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter tonight....

OT: Freaking everything Cowboy Bebop.
Warning: Is an actual SPOILER. So if you plan on watching/are watching it's a SPOILER that you shouldn't watch as it will SPOIL the end.
Captcha: STINKING RICH. Mmh, yes; Quite--my diamond monocle would agree.

I have seen the second movie.
And while that certainly is badass, I much prefer the opening because it's not as[/i over the top as the second movie.

Damn, I've been ninja'd so much in this single thread! Well, I've got plenty of Boondock moments.

And finally this, the opening of a new cartoon I heard about.

I absolutely despise Naruto, but as an artist I can't help but find this amazing.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
This is the scene I think of when I hear the term "gun fight"
the gunfight, from grenadier.

Couldn't find a clip of it anywhere but there is a scene in the third episode of Roberta'a blood trail where Roberta bites Shenhua's sword to pieces then breaks the chain of What's her Name's chainsaw with the trigger guards of her pistols. Defenitly one of my most favorite scenes.

I can't say I enjoy the scene, because you don't just ENJOY this, but it's one of the most powerful scenes I have ever seen.
The others, of course, being from the very same album.
TEAR DOWN THAT FUCKING WALL!

Really, if you haven't seen it yet, go get tickets to Roger Water's tour of The Wall. It has the animated bits with live music, and they're even more intense. What shall we do Now? portion with the dueling flowers is downright terrifying with the stadium blasting sound.

And of course, Waiting for the Worms.

Of course, I would be loath to post in one of these threads without bringing up this gem.

The fight between Justin and Jenner in The Secret of NIMH.
Besides the nostalgia that it invokes in me, it's just a really well-crafted scene. It's oddly brutal and realistic for something that involves cartoon rodents, and I'd even consider it my favourite sword-fighting scene in any movie, animated or not.

I wish man, I wish. He won't come to my country, due to him despising it and all.
The only thing that gets me worried about Roger's tour is that it seems to me that he made it a bit too political - I always saw The Wall as a personal album, not a protest against governments.
It still retains the sad story of Pink, but it also adds onto the anti-war message. The story of the man building up a wall around himself to shut out the outside world still exists, but I loved the extra meaning Waters added to the show.

What country do you live in that Waters hates?
