The entire Discworld series, The Truth is probably my favourite, or possibly Night Watch.

Anything by Douglas Adams, and finally, The Big Book of Bunny Suicides. Such a clever little book :)

BLADE OF THE IMMORTAL SERIES

Never has a story interwoven great plot, characterization and visuals so perfectly.

Good answer. The Truth was fantastic. Feet of Clay gets my runner's up.

Hmm. In the way of books, theres a series called Skulduggery Pleasant that I really enjoy.

In the way of Graphic Novels, as you can tell by my username, Civil War has to be my favourite.

Altered Carbon, Broken Angels, Woken Furies, Black Man/Thirteen - Richard Morgan - My favourite sci-fi writer.
Books From The Tale of the Malazan Fallen - Steven Erikson
Song of Ice and Fire - George R.R Martin
The Stand - Stephen King
Otherland - Tad Williams

I always like Preacher as far as graphic novels went.

No way! I thought I was the only person who read those. Great aren't they?

Well here we go:

The First Law Trilogy by Joe Abercrombie
Best Served Cold by Joe Abercrombie
The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch (not that one)
The Engineer Trilogy by K.J Parker
The Magician by Raymond E Feist.

Oryx and Crake, by Margaret Atwood.

Best. Fucking. Book. Ever. Read it three years ago, still ponder its plot and message to this day. And not because it's that ambiguous, either, but because it makes one think. Both about the book itself and about what our society is coming to.
