Also, FFX has the most insane final boss theme ever, simply because it comes out of nowhere and has absolutely no place in the rest of the soundtrack.

I call this the final boss, 'cause really, who counts Yu Yevon? He's more of a cutscene.

I thought I would throw this in there because when I read the title of the thread I was like well Dr Robtniks theme from Sonic 2 is badass and I saw that was the idea for the thread. There is a band I saw one time called Powerglove who have done some renditions of video game music to a powermetal theme and they do an awesome version of the boss fight from sonic 2.
