Commander Keen, all of them.

I am so glad someone mentioned this. Commander keen will always be my favorite old game.

I loved Keen, especially from 4 onwards. Good times.

I'm also going to have to nominate Sonic 1 for the Genesis. Come to think of it, it might have been the first game I technically owned.

Streets of Rage 2. Pummelling bad guys never felt like so much Goddamn damn fun!

Later on, Super Mario 64 was great fun.

Gunstar Heroes. I love that game. I probably spent the most time w/ Phantasy Star Online.

This, for the love of all that is holy, this. I just remembered how long I played this for, I must have replayed it around seven times. Never beat the hardest difficulty, but that didn't stop me from having a whale of a time. Gunstar Heroes was probably the best old game around then.

i played it and loved it but i hav no idea where my copy went

also i'd have to say all the early duke nukem games, jazz jackrabbit, commander keens, hocus pokus oh and kings quest 5 that game started my love of adventure gaming
