We've all got a meal that we love when we're feeling a bit down, be it from a bad day, a mild flu, or just nothing you can put the finger on, when you're feeling a bit blue what do you go for?

Personally I enjoy a nice hot cup of Milo (a chocolate drink in Australia), but just with heated milk, no hot water. Along with some baked beans and cheese jaffles [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandwich_toaster].

So how about you?

Rice pudding. But, like, not real rice pudding. Rice flour, milk, sugar and a few other things. Warm, sweet, fairly tasteless mush. Total baby food, but so delicious.

For me it has to be Doritos. I don't like chocolate all that much so I will only go for that if there is no other junk food in the flat. At the moment though I am eating small pots of rice pudding as they were going cheap at one of the supermarkets close to me and one of my roommates bought a load of them and realised that she couldn't eat them all. They actually taste pretty nice and they are fairly healthy.

Seriously mine is Yukaejong, it's a really spicy Korean soup.

Best had when feeling blue, or hungover.

P.S. I'm not Korean, making it a bit weird.

Chocolate. I don't even like it that much but when I need to comfort eat that's generally what I go for.

My dad's noodle soup. Though it's only noodles in some kind of stock with a few cooked chicken breasts, it's real comfort food when I've had a shitty day or I've been ill.

Usually macaroni and cheese. Occasionally I'll go for the clichéd route and eat a pint of ice cream, although my bowels never thank me for it. Actually almost all of my comfort foods cause gastrointestinal horror...damn lactose intolerance...

A Hermit's Cave
Fish conjee (preferably a tad salty) with spring onions, conjee being a Chinese equivalent to porridge (or something).

If accompanied by a hug from my ex-gf, would cure anything. Oh dear lord, why aren't we going out again?!?!

Carbsss. I don't really have a sweet tooth, I'd much rather scarf down a loaf of bread.
