Favourite Disney Musical Number

It's fair to assume that a lot of us, especially the older ones, grew up watching Disney animation. While I don't dislike all the CGI stuff that only seems to be produced now, I do miss the the hand drawn animation I grew up watching.

Now, we all have a favourite Disney film, mine being Basil the Great Mouse Detective (seriously, that shit is awesome), we also have our favourite musical number.

Now's the time to share that favourite.

Mine?

From the film Mulan (which is also a great one, right on the very tail end of the hand drawn era).

It's a montage.

A Disney training montage.

What's not to love?

(Seriously, I've had this song in my head for days now. Help me!)

Usually overshadowed by Part of Your World and Under the Sea, but the mood, the scenery, and Ariel's dress have made that my favorite part of my favorite movie since I first saw it.

Ninja'd by the OP. Damn.
That's because I'm as swift as a coursing river, with all the force of a great typhoon, with all the strength of a raging fire.

Mysterious as the dark side of the moon.

Damn. Disney really do suck now don't they?

Pixar are the only guys making decent childhood movies nowadays.

I wouldn't say that. I thoroughly enjoyed Tangled from start to finish, as well as Enchanted. The Princess and the Frog had some slow moments, but Facilier ranks up there with Sher Khan and Jafar among my favorite villains.

Even so, Disney films are not nearly as numerous and awesome as they used to be.

Oh trust me. I dare anyone to listen to it and not sing along, it's impossible.

This movie had no reason to be this amazing.

Damn it, I was going to say that one. Well, otherwise I'd have to say...

The movie was a nice throwback to Disney's older entries despite being CG.

Well, since someone had to go and put the best song at the start of the thread, I guess I'll have to go with...
How they used Hercules' world so many times throughout the Kingdom Hearts games and didn't include these guys, I'll never know.

Most of the Lion King songs but A Whole New World from Aladdin is magical. Especially when sung by this guy:

Damn, ninja'd. This is my favourite Disney song by miles. In fact, every song from Hercules is fantastic. It's my favourite animated Disney film (thus not counting Pixar or POTC) and the music is the joint #1 reason (the other being that it's freakin' Hercules!).

Well, the movie itself really wasn't. Even so, it was worth seeing just to hear Keith David sing that song.

Captain Anderson as a crazy voodoo priest. What's not to love?

Anyway, my favorite Disney song? Well, the OP stole mine, so I'll have to go with the villain song from the Disney movie that had the most impact on my childhood. I watched it over and over, and it still holds up today.

I must admit, that was quite hilarious.

Hmm, maybe Disney hasn't lost it...

Damn it Disney! Make more stuff!

Not to rain on your parade, but wasn't Tangled a Dreamworks movie?

Edit: Whoops, nevermind. Just Wikipedia'd it, and it's as "Disney-ish" as Splash Mountain.
