Anyway, my favorite Disney song? Well, the OP stole mine, so I'll have to go with the villain song from the Disney movie that had the most impact on my childhood. I watched it over and over, and it still holds up today.

I actually really can't stand this song. I love me some Jeremy Irons but didn't like this song.

This movie had no reason to be this amazing.

Well, the movie itself really wasn't. Even so, it was worth seeing just to hear Keith David sing that song.

Captain Anderson as a crazy voodoo priest. What's not to love?

Needs more Timon and Pumba :D

The Lion King as always been my favourite Disney Movie and probably the only one, I've watched more than once. The sequel was pretty good as well.

Still consider this to be one of the greatest villin songs of all time.

The song that Played during Kovu's exile is another favourite.

Awww... *sadface*

I don't understand how anyone could dislike Scar's scenery-chewing number. You'd be hard pressed to find a song that better captures the theme of "ambition gone mad" than this one.

Also, it's really fun to sing along to when no one's around.

>_>

What?

I love this song. In the Nostalgia Critic's own words, he took a bunch of laughing, goofy creatures and turned them into the "f***ing Third Reich". It's really true. The way they march alone is enough to make me shiver.

That's probably true of just about anything, ever. Anything can be improved with Timon and Pumbaa.

Oh, and the next time someone gets on my case, I'm going to have to remember to counter with an exasperated, "What do you want me to do, dress in drag and do the hula?"

Ninja'd by the OP. Damn.
That's because I'm as swift as a coursing river, with all the force of a great typhoon, with all the strength of a raging fire.

Mysterious as the dark side of the moon.

[sub]Please, I need help...[/sub]
Oh trust me. I dare anyone to listen to it and not sing along, it's impossible.
It's quite true. It gets stuck in your head. xD

Looking through this thread I had several moments where I saw someones suggestion and went "Good God Yes". I love Disney musical numbers. They ARE my childhood. I read this and posted with "I'll make a man out of you" playing.

Anyway. On topic. I think I agree with you OP. Mulan rocks and is possibly my favorite. A close second is "Be Prepared" from the Lion King.

These are gonna be in my head for days.

DISNEY SONGS FOR EVER.

The movie itself is pretty awful but I LOVE This part.
I'd second this, but the whole setup doesn't feel very Disney-ey, so my favorite Disney musical number has to be a tie between "Be Prepared" and "Friends on the Other Side"
Oh, those are pretty much everyone else's favorite? Figures.

It's weird, I never realised how much of my childhood soundtrack was from Disney.

Turns out that it's a lot.
