I don't know if this was natural or not, but my companions in Fallout 3 were somehow marked a essential or something so i got Dog meat and Fawkes, the game was pretty much easy mode from there, didn't even have to kill myself at the end.

In Magicka, I accidentally blew myself up, went through the wall, and we skipped the boss we were in. Later, we got demolished in a room full of skeletons, I was the only one left so I kept healing myself. About a minute of this went by, then they all just die. No explanation, they just died.

Not that I'm complaining mind you.

I was playing Fallout New Vegas and I was doing the Bleed Me Dry (The Quest with Red Lucy, forget what it's called) when I was heading to the radscorpion nest, I shot a giant one with the hunting rifle, and it sunk into the ground. I moved forward towards the eggs and I see the massive thing stretch up into the sky, revert to normal form, fall back to the ground, bounce, backflip, and die at my feet.

There are more, I just need to remember them.

I was playing Medal of Honor and during the first mission (This was my second playthrough btw) Mother's entire body went rainbow for maybe half a second and then went back to normal.
This has never happened again.

In the original Super Smash Bros. Captain falcon (Only he has ever done this) threw the hammer after one of us knocked him off a cliff. He's done this at least three times to me and my brother.
THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE POSSIBLE.

The strangest thing: In Red Dead Redemption, I was shooting up the Armadillo saloon, when suddenly it just turned white, but then I noticed John Martson was several hundred feet in the air just outside of the down, falling to his death. The white probably from draw distance being to far until after I fell a bit.

It was hilarious! I wish I could do it again.

I think it's when you gun a person down in the Armadillo saloon with a pistol in the back when they're running from you and facing the door to the hall leading to the poker room.

Just try replicating that!

It was in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. I was in a huge battle on the highest difficulty. I mean lasers and robots on every side of me. I don't know what happened, perhaps it was a combination of fatigue and caffeine, but I was suddenly IN THE FREAKING ZONE! I was slashing, dodging, jumping, and blocking with perfect timing and accuracy. I was about to finish off the last robot with a jump attack, but then I glitched through the enemy, and hit the floor. But it didn't stop there. The floor just kept stretching on and on and on, until I reset the game. Needless to say, it was a pretty major kick in the balls.

This reminds me of a swamp in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl. (Never had a game breaking glitch. Not a really glitchy game actually, after patching.)

There's a swamp in some area, which I don't remember because it was at my friend's house, where Snorks would spawn around. If you, or anything went into the water, you would light up in a rainbow. Your gun, any Snorks, NPC's, anyone. We call it the rainbow puddle. There is nothing at all to suggest why this happens. Never went there on my computer, but my friend's computer is strange, for example, there is no sky, it just sort of lags, and frames with something in the sky get stuck there. It wouldn't clear, and just breaks.

Recently, I was fighting the seventh colossus in the HD version of Shadow of the Colossus. When I got on him, the colossus turned and got himself caught on the pillar in the center of the lake. As a result, he started to spasm all over the place. Which in turn caused the camera to spin around like crazy. Thankfully, the Colossus corrected itself and the battle continued like nothing happened.

I've played through the game at least 5 or 6 times and that has never happened before. It was really weird.

There was also this one time I was playing Versus mode on Left 4 Dead 2. It was the final level on Dead Center, I was with the survivors, and for some reason when the elevator we were in reached the bottom, the door wouldn't open. I believe what happened was that I shot a grenade at the elevator door before it opened causing it to glitch.

As a result, we were trapped within the elevator and we had to kill each other in order to move on with the game. Unfortunately, we couldn't kill everyone and there was only one survivor left. So the infected team had to help us out. It took a while, but the final survivor died through the vibrations of a charger's charge attack.

Twas one of the funniest glitches I've came upon.

There isn't really much to mention, but I find it hilarious when skin textures slide around. It confused the heck out of me when a mob that looked just fine died and suddenly their skin and clothing texture started slowly gliding around, still conforming to the shape of the body. It only happened with that specific mob type too. Killing the other gender didn't do anything.

I was playing MGS3, when my rocket launcher inexplicably got infinite ammo. Every time I changed weapons, it's ammo count went to 99. The Fury died horribly, and the rest of the game was a mass of explosions.

Final Fantasy VI's Gau Sketch glitch. Can give you infinite items, and turn your party members into Kefka, General Leo, Emperor Geshtahl, or even Biggs and Wedge.

One that I never heard of until the GBA release was 'Psycho Cyan', making the normally weak archaic knight into an unstoppable killing machine the enemies will not even get a chance to attack.

Oh, and then there's Vanish/Doom. More of an imbalance than a glitch.

Ooh, I love the chance to retell this story.

Homeworld 1. The Cathedral of Kadesh. I had 15 captured Multi-Beam Frigates, and decided I'd send them all out against the last Kadeshi Needleship (the big needle-shaped mothership/carrier thingy). Once they got in range, I ordered them all to attack at once, figuring it would die incredibly quickly - but I'd neglected to factor in the MBFs' momentum, which kept them going for quite a while as they tried to align up correctly. Meanwhile, the Needleship turned round and started to try and ram the frigates (as it often does, being shaped like a baseball bat).

What then happened was, the MBFs began to phase through the Needleship, just spinning wildly into one side and coming out the other. It didn't take long for the game to realise that this should not be fucking happening, so it promptly fixed the glitch and made the Needleship material again. The problem was, several MBFs had been inside it when this happened.

They were never seen or heard from again. I like to think they remained trapped in there until the Needleship spectacularly blew up.

Oh, and one happened to my friend. Playing the latest Assassin's Creed, and he was trying to get onto a horse... but the horse was next to a tree, and something went wrong with the collision engine. My friend's outraged cry of "WHAT. I'M IN A TREE" remains my favourite thing he's ever said (aside from "History is written by people who can write").

I once lost all the textures while playing Red Dead Redemption. everything was smooth, trees with just brown lines with grey blobs, the weather effects stopped working, etc. It was...weird.

They're not marked essential, but they have so much health, they are effectively immortal. Especially Fawkes, while cheating for mini nukes, it took me about a dozen shots to even make a dent in his health. And Fallout 3 goes into easy mode past the first hour or so.

Fallout 3 had the most deliciously broken weapons and armor. I wouldn't call them buggy, more like poorly programmed and balanced...

Aydin Chronicles: The first mage, hda a glitch where if camped or entered an encounter on some pieces of geometry, you would warp through the floor, spawn in the sky, fall through the floor again, and repeat.

it tended to do it RIGHT after you saved, so that if you loaded back, you'd be stuck in the loop. to get out you had to time a pause to get you back on the ground, and them /camp. hopefully sticking you back onto the ground.

Think i spent an ingame month perpetually falling, and trying to sleep my way back to the ground the first time.
