Everyone has a sequence in a game where they always enjoy it, no matter how many times they play it. Now this sequence may be a quest, dungeon, boss, cut scene or even a musical score. Some people enjoy them for their challenge, or their beauty, or even because it makes them think. It may help them connect with the characters, or even help define their own character.
Here are some of mine.
Dungeon/Level: The Ludo Kressh level from KotOR II. It made you realize that the Exile was a character who had a life before the game, and helps shape his morality.
Same with Moridin's loyalty mission from Mass Effect 2. It made him reflect on his actions and how the krogan are a people, not just a statistic. It was one of the few times he didn't seem to have a correct answer about anything.
Cut Scene: Shadow Hearts: Covenant is probably my favourite and most memorable game since it was one of the first games a friend and I marathoned at sleepovers. It blew our 12 year old minds away. Its not the prettiest game, and the only video I could find was filmed with a video camera, but here's the opening of the game.
Also, to completely ruin this game's image of being serious here's the comedic relief character.
