Hey, it's been a long time since I posted a new thread. You look nice...so..umm...so have you been?
....
I missed you.
I'm nearing the end of the puzzles in an obscure little gem I found over the PSN (I think it's on the 360, too) called Polar Panic
I won't go into excrutiating detail. Basically the concept is that you're a polar bear and you go through each level by pushing blocks across the map and crushing hunters who work for a big corporate...fatcat..if you will, that want's to build over your home and has kidnapped your youngens. Theres a lot of different variety in blocks, some move one space, some explode some freeze the stage for a few seconds when you crush them (by pushing them against a wall or another block).
The story was kinda lame, I was sort of hoping they would somehow work the melting polar ice caps into the story, and it'd be like a world saving adventure or something, but it was just an averedge "save ya home from corporate greed!" thing.
There are also puzzles...lots of em, and they're suprisingly fun, and difficult
Overall, the game was worth the ten or so dollars I paid for it.
So anyways, my question to you (as you probably would've guessed from the title is; whats your favourite game where you play as an animal? For me, there's no question here, mine's Okami for the ps2. It's such a gorgeous, viseral experience with a unique gameplay style where you "paint" the world around you. Gah...you know what Okami is!
