That man has the right idea about everything, far as I am concerned. Though he's currently getting crowded a bit by Mr. Archer from the CoOp campaign, who I think deserves a bit more credit.
Garrus Vakarian, Legion and Joker (Mass Effect)
Little to say about these three. There's made of win, and this Taffer likes win.

James Sunderland, Sam Fisher, and Anarki from quake 3. If you don't know who he is and give a crap, look him up. He's the fastest character in the game, and has more health than most.
Well, the obvious answer would be myself in a videogame. And before you get on me for the whole "Has to be a videogame character," anyone of you can be one in the many instances where you create your own character. Its interesting to see how I would act in the middle of the various videogame worlds.
It's quite good for a free game, although the doctor doesn't compare to the one in the TV show, I'm gonna stick with timesplittersTimeLord said:
My favorite NPC in any game is Dougen from Psychonauts. All of his lines were hilarious. My favorite main character was Guybrush Threepwood from Monkey Island, he was such so nerdy and so relatible. I also loved Travis Touchdown, I found him farily relatible too, although in retrospect that's probably not a good thing.
EDIT: Oh, I have a few additions. garret from Thief (because he's sneaky and dark and not very heroic) and Agent York from DEADLY PREMONITION (because he's batshit, yet still really interesting)

Favorite gaming character has got to be Kratos Aurion from the Tales series. He's badass, knows how to handle a sword, and if all else fails he can light you on fire with magic or blast you with judgement.
