Michael Faraday
He was one of the greatest minds of all time and he never had a proper education and mainly taught himself. He got into science from a book he read while beeing an apprentice bookbinder. And made some of the biggest chemical and electrical breaktrough in science.

Cincinnatus is easily my favorite. A skilled leader who did his job and then gave up his power without a second thought. If all people could turn down the life of a king to be a farmer the world would be a happier place.
It's time to revive this post! (hopefully)
Theodore Roosevelt. Basically he gives up a desk job to go fight front lines in the Spanish American then becomes president of the United States. I'm leaving out other accomplishments but...the guy had asthma! Talk about kids sitting out of gym class...Oh to show him our world today.

T.E Lawrence of Arabia. Closest thing to a real life India Jones in my book. British army officer and Middle Eastern archeologist who fight alongside and lead forces against the Ottoman Empire. You know what? India Jones never lead soldiers into battle.

Sure, he lost almost every "conventional" battle he fought in, but then again he didnt have an army built to fight a "conventional" battle. Plus he's so much more than just a revolutionary hero.
And FDR. hes easily ranked among greatest presidents ever, and in my opinion he's the best. four terms, a world war, a crippled economy the likes of which many had never seen before, and he pulled through all while being ina wheelchair and getting worse every day. All he neeeds to do is kill a bear with his hands and he'd be greater than his cousin.

Richard Feynman, he was a Nobel winning quantum physicist who only seems to get more interesting the more I learn about him.
