I love my shotguns! F.E.A.R. 1's shotgun, you can get a head shot from 2 rooms away... Getting multi-kills with the shotgun in Halo is always fun too.
Aaaa yes, a while ago I played GoW while I had plugged my mp3 in the Xbox. Then I turned Tiny Tim's Living in the Sunshine on a loop and kept chainsawing Locusts. I giggled non-stop, that song in combination with gory action...golden entertainment.Panda Mania said:Oh, and any gun with the chainsaw from Gears of War. ^^ No better way to dismember someone with entertaining results.
I'm assuming you enjoy it more than the Lincoln Repeater because of the ammo.Sparrow Tag said:Lever-Action Rifle.

In-game, an L85A1 can be perfectly reliable. IRL, they had to reinforce it because holding it too tight stopped the action moving, the lifter platforms in the magazines tended to tilt and jam, the magazine release catch had to have a shield added so people wouldn't accidentally drop the mag, the locking spline arrangement makes it impossible to clean properly, the gas plug's little springy nipple is just the right size to go down the gas port and turn it into a manual-feed weapon, it's only held together by two pins so it gets loose and flexes along those lines, the fire selector's in a really awkward place and occasionally fails to auto, the working parts release catch tends to come off, the safety only stops the trigger, not the hammer, the sights are too far back and put notches in your eyebrows and scratches in the lenses of your respirator (gas mask to the rest of the world), the front sling loop is exactly in the way of your thumb, the top cover's a sod, the "flash hider" or tumble eliminator or whatever it's meant to be is nothing but a nuisance to clean and the ejection port's tiny ...monostable said:actually its the l85a2. the a1 kept breaking so they updated them all. nerd moment for you there
Much discussion of issues there, and they get their own pages on a Russian site: Weight: 7.3 kg empty, with SUSAT optical sight [http://world.guns.ru/machine/mg37-e.htm] for the LSW, compared to the M16A1's 2.89kg [http://world.guns.ru/assault/as18-e.htm]. Okay, so that's LMG to rifle, but still ...L85A1 with a 20.4" (518mm) barrel is 30.9" (785mm) long, whereas the M16A2 with its 20" (508mm) barrel is 39.6" (1,006mm) overall. [http://www.quarry.nildram.co.uk/SA80.htm] The short-barrelled M4 carbine version of the M16 is 33" (840mm) overall, or 760mm (29.9") with the telescoping butt collapsed, but to achieve this means shortening the barrel to 14.5" (368mm). In other words, the M16 can only match the L85A1 in length by losing six inches (150mm) from its barrel and having its stock collapsed. To give another comparison, the L86A1 LSW has a 25.4" (646mm) barrel but is considerably shorter than the M16A2 at only 35.4" (900mm) overall.
