PS2.

The damn thing is still selling games. Granted most of them are crap, but it's still alive!

Gamecube: Sunshine, Windwaker, Timesplitters, Melee, Mario Tennis (say what you will it's great multiplayer), Viewtiful Joe, F-Zero GX, the Fifas, SSX, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Kart, and the list keeps going. Not to mention it has my favourite (the BEST) controller of all time.

That and my PS2 broke after about 3 months, and during that time all I played were the exclusive GTAs.

Playstation 2 for sure... mostly because it played Playstation games! Lets be honest here, those games were better than even most current gen games! (if you were an rpg fan)

I don't want to get ahead of myself but I'm pretty sure I can name more amazing rpgs for Playstation than there are for any other system. ESPECIALLY if you include final fantasy anthology and... that other one... I forget the name of... chronicles? Okay maybe I can't name them per se but its like rpg heaven up on that system. I still have my amazing rpg collection just sitting beside my pc, and occasionally I look at it longingly and dream of better days.

Oh breathtaking rpgs, where art thou ?

PS2: Best games library. That's all that counts.

On a system's merits alone, however... Xbox! The S-Type controller ruled and it had a hard drive.

I have a gamecube and a ps2. I never play the cube, but the ps2 still gets dusted off every once in a while. It's a shame that I have 3 controllers for it, and every one has something different wrong with it lol. So now I cant really play FFXII (even though I can't get into it the same as I did with FFVIII).

PS2 PWNS!

PS2
Game Cube (short shelf life, but it was fun)
Followed by (technically not a console) Sega Game Gear, had over 30 games for that thing.
