Don't get me wrong here, and please put your pitchforks away and don't call me a musical heretic, I like Muse's songs, but didn't they sell out or something? I read something along these lines a while ago... I think it was something about some movie and "getting exposure out of the U.K." or something...
Or am I confusing with Maroon 5? I think it might be Maroon 5. Not sure though.

None of them. Y'know why? Because they all sound the same to me. But I suppose if I had to choose one, Hysteria. It's the only song of their's I actually like.

Yes, the film was Twilight.

People got really pissed when Supermassive black hole was in that film. They also made a new song for Eclipse I believe too. It attracted a much younger, less musically knowledgeable crowd to Muse's music, which older fans didn't like one little bit.

That's a joke right? Right??

Either Time Is Running Out, Starlight or Knights of Cydonia.
However, I have the opposite opinion to many - I always found their older albums rather tiresomely wail-y (and of course Showbiz was so dull it's probably best forgotten). This dampened the experience of seeing them live at Wembley for me, as I got bored when they went through the tired ones. Still went mad for all the good songs though.

Wow this thread was amazingly convinient... I was just talking to a band member what songs we were going to play first and he said 'something by muse...' sooo...

could someone please vote between 'super massive blackhole' and 'time is running out'?

Soldiers Poem or Starlight.

Soldiers Poem uses the same chord progression and structure as Ave Maria (one of my all time favorite songs) and it's theme kinda reminds me of Metal Gear Solid, and I also like the line "There is no justice in the world, and there never was"

Starlight: I really love the sound of it, I learned how to play the main riff on piano a while ago and the electronic part when he sings (I'll never let you go) is trippy.

Assassin, I love that song
Me too. It's probably one of the only metal-type songs I listen to, because some of them are just unintelligible screaming. But Assassin is amazing.

Easily Stockholm Syndrome.

But Blackout is an extremely close second. That song is simply beautiful.

Supermassive Black Hole. I can (and do) listen to that song all day long. It is sexy as fuck. (which is incredibly sexy)

Absolutely everything from Origin of Symmetry - That was an album of pure greatness.

It's a pity they've gotten progressively, and very quickly, shitter and shitter from that point on. Now they're little more than a pop rock band that occasionally does arpeggios. I also find it embarassing that as their quality has shrunk their fanbase has grown exponentially; c'est la musique.

Why would you think I would be joking?
Those literally exemplified everything that was wrong with Muse - too up themselves, and without the talent in writing interesting music to rightfully be so.

I disagree entirely. Exogenesis (as a whole) is one of my favorite pieces by Muse. I think it's beautiful and brilliant

Fair play. Personally I find it to be of shoddy composition, but it is but an opinion.

Time is running out would probably be my favourite, if covers are to be excluded; if not then Feeling good would be my preferred song. Speaking of covers, while muse fans are reading, a great cover which ye should check out (if ye haven't already) is house of the rising sun, quite different to the animals' original track but still pretty impressive
