Tell me what is your favourite character that only showed up once. References accepted and from any season but has to of only appeared once in the entire history of the show. Mine would have to be Brannigan the cat from "Gridlock" I thought he was awesome!

What about you?

I might actually have to go with Vincent van Gogh, from this weeks new series. I thought it was a brilliant portrayal, and it made me want to find out more about him. (I'm pretty sure its only been the once anyway)
That might be a little hasty of me though... I need time to think XD

It was really nice of them to take him to the museum and let him hear what the Bill Nighy (such a shame he was never cast as the Doctor) had to say about him. I thought it was a great ending to the episode.

Henry Van Statten. He was such a great character and utter BASTARD.

One of the truly moving moments from the series for me. Sometimes I wish Doctor Who was real, I have great respect for someone who creates his art, convinced all the same he's a failure. The epsiode really carefully dealt with his mental state, very touching. Thats why I liked him anyway.

EDIT: I broke the quote, I'm such a fail, sorry XD

Jenny, the Doctor's "daughter". After watching that episode, I actually went online for an hour looking for the spin-off series...

Here here!
I really do hope they make a spin off though. Would be epic!

Jenny was interesting sure and my choice. Christinia de Souza was also good.
However Wilfred Mott is my favorite one time companion if we talk about them.

The "Are you my mummy?" kid from a few series back.
Spooky shit.
He was a Chula Zombie named Jamie, known as "The Empty Child"

Single favourite cameo though?

King Yrcanos, played by
[HEADING=1]BRIAN BLESSED![/HEADING]

But the Vashta Nerada skeleton comes a very close second.

Some may call him Abaddon. Some may call him Krop Tor. Some may call him Satan. Or Lucifer. Or the King of Despair. The Deathless Prince. The Bringer of Night.

See where I'm going with this?

Also, bring back the Vashta Nerada, IMO.

I would say K-9 and Romanadvoratrelundar or Romana in the "older series"
and Jack Harkness and River Song in the "new series"
