Since you've got a cap like that, perhaps you can answer a question for me. How in the world do people's hats wind up frayed at the brim like that? It's never happened to any hat I've ever owned, and I'm wondering whether or not it's done on purpose.

To put it simply, its from folding my hat, shoving in the back of my belt when I need to get into a weird tiny spot and need smaller 'head clearance', sticking into my pocket, and the submarine environment. Yes I do wear this in uniform underway.

My jacket. I would get a photo but I can't find one. It's kind of an old east german army jacket I got from a second hand store which the previous owner had painted a skull and cross bones on the back. I have then changed it by adding buttons and other stuff as well.

My pair of ALTAMA combat boots. Fuck it to style, my feet are warm and you sure as hell don't want to be on the receiving end of one 'em.

I've got a pair of CDN GIs myself. Got sick of paying ridiculous money for pieces of shit that fell apart after six months, these things are the best boots I've ever had.

And of course my hats. My "Black Hat" baseball cap mit buttons, und a jungle boonie.

Nice. I had to go with the desert tan make. Or else it doesn't fit the ACU uniform. I sometimes wish we would go back to BDUs and have those nice shiny black boots.

Since we switched to the Navy Working Uniforms, basiclly digis with black and blue, we have these new leather 9 inch boots to go with them. Uncomfortable! I wants me boondockers back!
