Favourite pokemon game of all time?

Here are mine in order,

HeartGold/Soulsilver (i have both), Pokemon Collosuem, Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.

Also for those who have Heart Gold and Soul Silver i would like to know what you think of it

Silver (original) and Yellow versions are both pretty closely matched.

I think Yellow takes the cake for me because you didn't have to wander around in Viridian Forest for hours waiting for a Pikachu.

Pokémon Yellow would be my favourite simply because you can fight Jessie and James.

Ive only played Emerald, Colosseum, Diamond and Soulsilver. and i actually enjoyed Diamond most out of them.

It has to be Pokémon gold for me, it had so much to do. You have a whole story in Johto then a whole other story in Kanto. Hell, you could even destroy Red and Blue!

I liked emerald too, purely because of the Battle Frontier.

Pearl/Diamond made me vomit.

At the moment, it's Diamond/Pearl/Platinum.

I was all hyped for HG and SS, but...I just can't bring myself to play it for more than a half hour at a time. D/P had the amazing Battle Tower. And Platinum...brought back the Battle Frontier.

Pokemon Crystal. I was so sad when its internal battery died... I had invested so many hours into it. It was so nostalgic when I revisited Kanto, though this time with high-level pokemon. (Thank god for HeartGold/SoulSilver!)

Then I have Pokemon Yellow tied with Emerald. Again, I had probably invested about 100 hours into each game. The only reason Emerald in my eyes was (marginally) better was because of the Battle Frontier (i.e. something to do after the Elite Four).

Platinum... Was alright. It was the weakest of the four Pokemon games I've played, but it was by no means bad. Except in competitive battling, where everyone spams Stealth Rock.

My favourite Pokemon games are easily Gold and Red. The remakes are good, SoulSilver monumentally so, but don't have that full-on blast of nostalgia that the originals have and always will have.

well yeah iive heard about pokemon black and white i cant believe it a 5th generation! im ashamed! i think they are only init for the money making side of it now!
