Favourite Pokemon game?

I have been playing Pokemon alot recently, I own many Pokemon games; Yellow, Gold, Ruby, Emerald, Leaf Green And Pokemon Diamond. I was wondering, what Pokemon games does The Escapist love?
Out of all of my games I own of Pokemon, I would have to either say Pokemon Yellow or Pokemon Emerald.

Blue, it has Vulpix/Ninetails as cathcable Pokemon whereas Red has Growlithe/Arcanine and Ninetails is one of my favorite Pokemon

Red. It had Charizard on the front. I was given both Red and Blue the christmas after they came out. I then proceeded to only play Red. Hell I think I played Gold before I played Blue.

Pokemon Gold+Silver. It took what was great from the first generation and added a lot to it without getting over complicated. I haven't played the new heart gold or soul silver though.

I love all Pokemon games, at the moment I'm playing through Heartgold again.
I'd say overall my favourite generation was the second, and Heartgold and Soulsilver are just more polished versions.
As for the next generation, I'll get White version, since Zekrom looks awesome.
