Favourite PS1 games (and others of that gen)

Top of my list are Castlevania: SOTN, Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid

but anyone remember Fear Effect?
I got back into that recently

Spyro The Dragon Trilogy was by far the best game series ever.
I'm sure a lot of people will disagree but I have yet to find a game that's more fun and has more replay value than those games. Such a shame the games companies the series has since passed onto just don't know what they're doing.

Tekken 3, Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie and Sonic Adventure. I still Love Mario and Tekken, enjoy Banjoe and HATE Sonic. That goes to show tastes change.

Robo cop LAPD was a brilliant game, i thought, for the PS1.
I also liked the original resident evil game, and the original silent hill. Both these games were fun to play originally and still are really fun to play. Now though they have lost there horror side and have become ever so slightly comedic.

NHL Rock the Rink

Fast paced, crazy special moves, great commentary; it even has what we would now call achievements.

Essentially a precursor to EA's "Street", franchise.
