Right now it's disarm (can't remember the word) as a battlemage that's focused purely on dealing damage, I'm rather fragile and removing the weapons from my foes puts me at a great advantage.

Although I did just find a wall that gave me all 3 words to what it says is a distraction shout. Haven't tried it yet though, after an hour-long battle with some undead dragon-prince/monk/priest that hung out in a coffin by a dragon wall and dropped a sweet staff and mask, I decided I had to sleep.

Krovis! That's his name!
I spent an hour trying different ways of chipping down his health and desperately avoiding his staff blasts. I could only survive one direct blast from the thing and he's immune to my disarm shout.

So far? FUS RO DAH, but only cause it's the first one I got so it's the one I use most often. I did just pick up the first word for fire, so that should be fun. I desperately want the first word for the frost shout, but it's being guarded by a Dragon that has thus far proved to be one tough mother. But I'm a couple levels higher than our first encounter and am now, much to my dismay, a werewolf. So maybe I'll pay ole fire breath a visit before bed tonight and see what happens.

Unrelenting Force, mostly. When I was doing the missions for the Stormcloaks, I had to raid a lot of forts. It's was a blast (teehee) shouting all of the archers and whatnot off of the walls, and down the mountains they were built on. It's disturbingly satisfying to send a living soldier rag-dolling off of a huge tower.

Otherwise I like Fire Breath. I used it as soon as I got it, because it did a lot of damage and sent dead bodies flying.

When Paarthunax upgraded it for me, I used it non-stop.

I like unrelenting force...but only because I always pretend I'm yelling BOOSH! and that Graham and Paul are yelling at me for being from Haze.

Why do people keep saying unrelenting force? I've tried using it quite a bit and it seems quite shit to be honest. It makes people step backwards slightly for me.. I have the level 2 one.

It can put people down on one knee at level 2... But at level 3 it launches enemies through the air. Quite useful when your fighting on a mountain or on top of a castle wall.... Except you have to go looking for the corpse!

Unrelenting force. Killing an Ice Troll at level 8 just by pushing him off High Hrothgar is hilarious.

Wow! Look at that table spread! Sweet rolls, legs of meat, wine, candles, plates...Look how perfectly it's set! I bet that some poor programmer had the job of placing everything on the table just so, making sure that everything looks right, isn't hung up on random bits of geometry, and doesn't go flying if someone picks up a salmon steak. It must have been a thankless job, but seeing the fruits of his or her efforts, I have to say that they have my respect!

Oh hell with it.

FUS RO DAH!

Oh, your thread is yet another about Skyrim. HOW AWKWARD.

Guess you do need to say what game you're talking about after all.

I can only use the first one so far, so it wins by default. I love shouting it in towns. One guard even asked me to cut it out, or people'd go deaf.

Btw, how the hell is a melee supposed to fight dragons? I've only seen one in the wild so far, but the bastard refused to land in spite of me standing in middle of a huge field. He followed me up the mountains and landed for about a second, then he flew off...
Needs mah dragon powahs!

Easily unrelenting force. When I am near a cliff. Otherwise, whirlwind sprint, because it helps me get to mages faster so I can one hit them.

Don't read if you don't like me telling you about a shout you get later. Well now you probably already know what the shout is. Damn it.
Anyways, you get a shout that you can fire at dragons and it makes them land. How you expect to survive next to a dragon for a whole fight it beyond me. It is best to train archery a little bit, because it helps A LOT in dragon battles, so you can alternate between getting eaten and getting fire pooped on you.

I have had full elven armor, with a sword and a dagger since level 14 and I'm 27 and I'm still looking for an elven bow.

Having beat the game, fus-ro-dah is just my favorite. really useful, espiecally early on when i was just screwing around hunting animals for leather, and the little bastards tried to run. mwahaha. not likely. then after having them fly around the terrain i'd skin em.
also use that against trolls, dragons, anything that attacks me. was really my go to shout.

Then i used dragonrend at every interval i was fighting a dragon, including alduin. (i'd say spoilers, but really? who hasn't figured that one out yet. the second i saw the little message at the bottom left of the screen while loading about alduin the world eater dragon i thought to myself "he's the final boss" and i was right. it's rather obvious.)

However, i've really wanted the ice one. seriously. can't find that. i have random obsolete ones like the animal one and kill. but no bloody idea where the freeze form is.

It's being guarded by a Dragon in the middle of a marsh near Kynesgrove which is the town you had to go to with
Delphine to fight Sahloknir

also for another word you can....
You can just do the first couple of college of winterhold missions to get a word for it.
