AAAAAALLLLWWWWWAAAAYYYSSSSS!

Seriously though, it's probably the Ballroom Blitz by The Sweet.
I heard it on Life on Mars (US version) it's surreal and awesome, as are most good seventies songs.

Because I'm a hopeless romantic and this is an "our song" in need of a girl...

I have 3 actually...
A song that manages to combine the hardcore I like, a great voice and video games!
Such a sad, mesmerizing song... And video games again!
It's System! What could possibly go wrong?

Hallelujah preferably covered by Jeff Buckleys, The Original one by Leonard Cohen sounds dry to me

Currently it is "Pillars" by Sunny Day Real Estate
I love this song because, mostly, of how different his voice is.
Also, made up words like "darium" are always fun

That's a really tough choice...

The tone for that song is amazing.
SOAD is great. I'm gonna pick one of their songs as my favorite:

Life on Mars by David Bowie. Also possibly Dear Prudence.

But I mean...how do you pick ONE song? That's madness.

Of all time? I can't say it exists. Too much music out there that I like to ever pick an all time favorite.

One that I have listened to quite consistently over the years though is this:

Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears
or
Life's Been Good by Joe Walsh

I can't think of why I consider those my favorites. They just kind of are.

Probably this:

Why? Because it's better than The Beatles' version. That is an accomplishment.

hm right now, i have to say a Sunday Bloody Sunday cover by Evergreen Terrace. They seem to get more of the emotion from the lyrics of the song better than U2, i think so because of the slight screaming shows the anger and the actual singer has a sort of depressed voice.

Right now I'd have to go with 'Magnetic Electric' by Kylie Minogue. Among other things. Whenever I hear it i just sorta bounce and go 'its electric, magnetic electric'.
