I like music that other people find strange. It reminds me that we're all that little bit weird in out own way and humankind is a creative (if sometimes destructive) thing.

Case in point, this gem:

So, any suggestions for stuff I should add to my youtube playlist?

(p.s. I'm using strange in a general sense, not meaning anything bad by it)

I listen to a band called Омела (Russian, pronounced Omela) which is Russian Folk Metal.
People think I'm weird, I reckon it's awesome!

I like a few of the songs by a Russian group called 'Nuclear Maniac' (who, for some reason, seem to garner a lot of hate on English speaking sites... OK youtube).

Case in point: one of the songs is called 'Come to Play With My Penis' (BTW, nnnnnnn, don't like it that much).

Generic Gamer - I love Folk Metal too. and if you like Steampunk rock, one to check out is Coppelius:

One of my very favorite bands is Apocalyptica, though. a metal bnd that consists of 3 cellists and a drummer. When they need a singer for a song, they bring in guest singers. They're pretty awesome.

From before the addition of the drummer (and loss of one cellist):

and from their latest album:

There's also this band called Haggard that's really cool, they are essentially a heavy metal chamber orchestra. 3 of their albums recount tales of historical figures, my favorite is Eppur Si Muove, about Galileo.

and finally, Corvus Corax. They do medieval inspired music which is really cool. I understand they are really impressive live, but have never had the opportunity to see for myself.

This isn't my favorite version of this song; but it was better than the acoustic (go to iMesh and listen to the 'explicit' version of this song) it's fantastic.

I like the soul Emily puts into her songs, I was able to get her first album, but haven't had much luck on anything else from her.

I can't get enough of this band; this is from their first CD, but all their stuff is great.

Reminds me of some people I know.

I'm sure I got more in my library, but, well, I'm lazy.

EDIT: Someone, for the love of God tell me how you get the actual video to show when you post. I have no idea how to get it to work.

Incredibly corny, but god damn if I just love the music.
Yes, I know, grammar just went out the proverbial window there.

Alright, say you want this video to go up.

Take the part highlighted in red, it's always the part after 'v='

Now put it in like this (youtube=rZFlHkz0V6M)

Replace the parentheses with brackets and it should work.
