I used the search bar and something like this didn't come up on the first page so, yeah.

Mine was the ARM Peewee from Total Annihilation, it was just so cute, and it's response sounds were cute too :D

How ISN'T that a cute little robot killing machine? Then again, it's technically a cloned soldier inside a high-tech battlesuit. The CORE AK isn't as cute as the Peewee IMO.

Then again, it was only good for the first five minutes of a game and then you started saying "Fuck this, I'm reccing my factory and going after ARM T2" after the CORE player on the other side of the field began to slowly mop the floor with everything you sent at him...

PS: Were the only two good things about ARM in TA the Kbots and the T2 defences? And being able to spam SHITLOADS of stumpies if you were dumb enough to go ARM vehicles but ARM vehicles isn't exactly a good thing xD

Zerglings or Mammoth tanks.

I love Mammoth tanks because if you have more than 10 of them, you win. And then they have a sweet voice. "MAMMOTH TANK!!!"

I had a weird love for those walking mech things that the Terren built, despite how utterly useless they were. That or those super silly suicide bombers in C&C 3.

The Devestator tank from Dune 2. While other vehicles could retreat, it just had a self destruct button, because it was HARDCORE!

The spellcasters are always the most fun. Take starcraft's Dark Archon for example. It has no attack, but rather three very special abilities.

The first one (unlocked by default) is called Feedback. It can only target other units with magicka/energy/"juice", but it is a very powerful attack. It drains the target's mana/energy/etc. and damages the target's health by however much energy it took away.

The second spell (must be unlocked by means of buying it at the building) is called Mind Control. It does just as the name implies: target an enemy unit and you gain indefinite control of it. Target a dropship/overlord/shuttle and you gain control of it, as well as any units it might be carrying. Target a worker, and you gain control of that entire tech tree.

The third spell (must also be unlocked) is called Maelstrome. It's an area-of-effect lockdown spell for biological units. Simply cast it and any biological units in its vicinity are rendered useless for about 30 seconds, giving time to kill them.

Sounds fun, yes? The spellcasters are always funner than units that are simply designed to automatically attack the enemy.

Goliaths? If you're talking about them, you're utterly mistaken about their "uselessness". They've got terran's best ground-to-air attack, as well as an incredible range (with the upgrade).

Can it wipe out the entire map almost single-handedly while being able to get the shit beat out of it time after time and still keep coming back for more? Yes? I'll take 20.

CARRIER HAS ARRIVED!

My plan in Starcraft:
Step 1: Build 24 Carriers.
Step 2: Build 2 Arbiters.
Step 3: Waltz across the map.

The Land Leviathan/Glass Dragon in Rise of Legends-- they are the very definition of epic win. Either that or a fully decked-out science walker from Universe at war.

Or Sauron.

Lictor Alpha in Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 2. I have always liked stealth based characters.
