No love for mods eh? No GoldenEye:Scource, Age of Chivalry, Pirates Vikings and Knights 2, Earth Special Forces or Battlegrounds 2?

I'll flip a coin between L4D and TF2.

Team Fortress 2 on 360. I would say on PC, but I can't run it and it still doesn't have multi-core support.
TF2 doesn't have multi-core support? How the fuck am I playing it o_O?
It will only use one of your cores then. People are bitching about it on the Steam forums right now.

All good for their own thing. Hl2:dm is great for crazy fun. Tf2 for teamwork. DoD for general stuff. L4D for the sheer awesomeness of killing zombies and porn. I mean...

Counter Strike: Source with nothing else coming close. I'd say CS1.6 but I quit a couple years ago even though I technically played that longest.

I played DoD for a while and loved it but I could never really get into DoD:S.

I played TFC with my very first online clan but I always had more fun with them playing Quake Rocket Arena so I really can't call it my favorite.

I enjoy TF2 but never enough for it to replace CS:S so I only have like 30 hours logged total not the 8 a week I have in CS:S (which is really pathetic, my clan leader plays like 30-60 a week and I still whip his sissy butt).

The greatest shame in Valve's history was how screwed up HL2:DM was when it came out. That game was so goddamn fun, the maps were great, and it was so difficult to find a server that actually worked. There were people with great specs who just couldn't get that game to run, it was a pain in the butt but so much fun. The original HL:DM was pretty fun too, I played that for a while before the one server I could find playing it winked out of existence.

Never got into any of the mods like Natural Selection, Sven, and any of the half a bajillion others out there.

Left 4 Dead, hands down.
But like the other guy said, a multiplayer Portal would cause me to do something dirty.

Team Fortress 2 easially.

Left 4 Dead was fantastic for the first few weeks, but it really doesn't have enough replay value.

And yes, if Valve announced that Portal 2 had a muliplayer option I would touch myself.

I would have to say the zombie mods on Counter Strike: Scource.

Left 4 Dead is fun, but it doesn't capture the moment when your the last human, boarded up in a room, hiding from 32+ other human controlled zombies.

Day of Defeat (not source, it sucks), admined a 24/7 switch and avalanche server. Good times.
Avalanche became my most hated map in DoD back when I played it non-stop in the ol' days. DoD:Scource needs the Brittish army to be cool and more maps.

Left 4 Dead. Nothing like getting four freinds together in a dark basment with two 360's and just screaming at the top of our lungs. I'm not jokeing, excluding one of us, we were all anti-scary games, and that stuff just freaked us out. Three guys screaming and one laughing untill he pees is a very funny sight to see on a camara positioned for the best coverage avaliable.
