I once played a game of Call of Duty 4 with my little brother, first one to 50 kills wins. I imagine that is what Hell's like. You're trapped forever inside of a ruined city constantly hunting and being hunted by another soldier. He's just as good as you, just as clever, and just as well armed. You can't reason with him, he doesn't speak your language, and he'll never stop. After he kills you, you just respawn. If you kill him, he does the same. Eventually, you both run out of ammo and your guns rust away and you take turns beating each other to death with bricks. That's Hell, the chaos of war for eternity. No release by death, no victory, no glory, no honor.

Can't believe I am going to be the first one to go here!

Jean-Paul Satre's 'No Exit' famous for 'Hell is other people'

I'm not a particularly solitary person however even my best friends would annoy me after an eternity!

well my version of hell contains demons that eternally dildo fuck you while Nickelback plays on a continuous loop. See the thing here is that while the dildos are bad; Nickelback is what makes it a horrible experience. :)

To live the life of Private William Mandella minus the "happy ending" at the end of the book.(Chapter 35 and epilogue)

or

To be forced to live in the world that he leaves behind when he accepts his officer's commission. (near the Novel's mid point)

Both are based derived from The Forever War by Joe Haldeman

You mean when the governments start encouraging homosexuality to stop overpopulation? Thought that was the funniest part of the book haha.

Hmmm my version of hell...probably all of Harlan Ellison's 'I Have No Mouth And Yet I Must Scream'. Just...the whole damn book. Being tortured and abused by a superior being that you have no hope of stopping. Yeah, sounds like hell.

True but would you really want to live in a world like that. To each their own, but I'd rather be dead than living in that world while knowing about the world before.

I guess an alternate would be the world of The Road by Cormac McCarthy. Or having to live as a bystander through each of the Twilight novels as they play out verbatim in front of me. But again to each their own.
