Favourite Weapon of All Time

Favorite one that I've used would have to be the Sig p226. It's a shame not many games have them...

Favorite fictional weapon would probably have to be the Lascannon from the 40k universe. Maybe the chainsword...

I cannot narrow it down to 1. I must give you 3.

I am partial to the mega-buster (please tell me that is the name of mega man's gun) especially in the X series. I mean come on, it is a literal hand-cannon.

I am also a fan of the energy sword from the Halo series.

Lastly, I would say the Keyblade. Because it's a key... and a blade.

If i had to have a gun it would be either the M9 from MGS2 or the Red 9 from Resident Evil 4.

If it were a blade i had to have then it would be the Thunder Clap from Monster Hunter Tri.

And lastly if i were able to have a machine to fight in it would have to be either the ship from Radient Silvergun or any type of powered suit mecha like Metal Gear Ray or one of those mechanical suits from Lost Planet 2.

Anyways, I'm actually going to stick to the rules, and list my two favorite game weapons:

Why a keyblade? Because it's a blunt object, that is not ONLY the most powerful weapon ever, but somehow also able to cut through solid buildings.

As far as firearms go, I love Light Machine Guns, I especially like the MG3. As for melee weapons go, I have a special place in my heart for the Katara (not to be confused with the Katana).

I'm not sure, but I quite like Dak'kon's sword from Planescape Torment.
The more will you have in yourself the stronger the sword grows, and it changes shape depending on your mental state.

That has to be the coolest thing I have ever seen.

I know of two weapons that skeletonize people in the UTs, the link gun's alt fire (a green beam that does annoyingly massive damage if you can keep your aim over the target) and the ion painter that fires a satellite cannon.

I will not be happy until there is a game out there where there is a catapult that launches tanks.

But if I was forced to choose out of all the games so far, I'd go with two.

The portal gun, since it is the only gun that doesn't kill (well, technically) and the shark gun for... well, because of why it is called the shark gun.
