Daniel Kayser from GameTrailers is creating an awesome website named Favslist [http://www.favslist.com]. It's still a work in progress but it has a really fun concept. It let's you rank your all-time Top 25 games and affect the results in real-time. DK made a video explaining how it works here:

If you feel like putting your 2 cents in, then go here [http://www.favslist.com/lists/All-Time-Favorite-Games/4] and make your Top 25 favorite game of all time list (1st=25pts, 2nd=24pts, ..., 25th=1pt).
The results from the gamers in their 20s will be different from the gamers in their 30s. You can sort the results by gender, country and age if you want.

Other gaming lists are also available (by year, genre and systems) if you want to mess around with more of them. It also works for movies, tv shows, music, sports and anything you can think of [http://www.favslist.com/lists].
For example, the "Favorite Pokémon" is a list fun to participate in if you're a fan of the series.

It's kinda like twitter but it's centered around the things we're passionate about.
Anyway, Post the link of your Top games and feel free to discuss your choices!

Final fantasy 6 for favorite game.

That game has everything you could want in an rpg. My favorite character in that game is Sabin. He's just too much awsome.i replay that game at least once a year.

I've been using Favslist since it's inception and as a person with a really odd obsession with listing things it is literally a dream come true.

(BTW, Shadow of the Colossus for favorite game, Inglorious Basterds for favorite movie)

Can you write a message next to your choice? As in to describe the certain sections/parts you enjoyed to be more specific. Otherwise this isn't for me. I also don't like how it adds it up like a competition.

I started listing things but then I realised I really have only 3 games that stand head and shoulder above the rest for me FFVII, Valkyria Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles respectively and one favourite book The Journey to the West. I dont really have a favourite band, song, film, tv show etc or any further lists in my mind such as second favourite book or even a top 5 games they sort of blur together into a collection of stuff I just enjoy after the few mentioned.

System Shock 2 was my number one game. It's just a great classic that evolves the games we have today. Without it, we would have never had the games we have today. In my opinion, it holds up perfectly.

You can write a general description for each of your lists and you click on the picture of your actual choices you can write an individual opinion that explain why you've ranked it that way or whatever. Some items like games or movies can even be ration (out of 10) if you'd like.

The site needs 250 participants [http://www.favslist.com/status/252017] to rank their Top 5 most anticipated games of PAX East 2014 before the end of the countdown. If the goal is reached, the guys at Penny Arcade might consider it relevant enough to make it their official metrics for game of the show.

Rank your Top 5 [http://www.favslist.com/lists/Most-Anticipated-Games-of-PAX-East-2014/169] and see the results affected in real-time.
