In case anyone who hasn't heard, FCC voted to kill NN and the results were 3 for and 2 against. Now at first, this seems like the end of the internet. But DO NOT fret, my friends!

The act to repeal NN must go through Congress, and 83% of them, including both Dem and Rep, are against it.

To further give you hope, FCC has tried twice in the past to kill NN and failed.

Our mission now is to get that ******-ass Ajit Pai off the FCC and make sure to keep our internet safe. Let's do it for our youtube, streaming services, educational websites, porn, pirate bay, and of course, our freedom!

Need I remind you, sgy0003, that this '******-ass' casually walked into President Trump's administration and struck down a number of Federal regulations. ******-ass? He's too dangerous to be a ******-ass.

One day we will deal with this Ajit Pai, but it is not today. We must stop this protesting so that we may concentrate on the greater threat.

I'm not sure where you're getting the percentage of legislators against the repeal of Net Neutrality. I can't find anything beyond a letter signed by 107 representatives FOR the repeal. Regardless, assuming Congress DOES pass a law reinstating Net Neutrality it must be signed by the President and he would most assuredly veto as he supports what the FCC did. They would need a full 2/3 vote in each house to overrule his veto. Now, if 83% of Congress is really against this, shouldn't be an issue, but I can't find that figure reported anywhere.

It'll be challenged in court, that much is certain, and we shouldn't stop letting our representatives know we want to save Net Neutrality. I still think at this point, we're fighting a VERY uphill battle.

How is this thread related to gaming at all? Seems like an R&P thread to me.

Come on, at least try to keep it classy and not have such inflammatory language like that. It is also in the wrong forum so I'm just going to lock it.

Besides, a thread like this already exists
