Im surprised you have not watched Bleach as you watch the other 2 big SJ series, its alot like Naruto in terms of quality, 40% is fine but nothing special, 30% is animated terribly and the other 30% is so good I weep like GAI SENSEI!!! I love Naruto and Bleach but as their head liners that are on going their quality shifts drastically. And as for Soul Eater, it rocks but im almost to the ending and I hear its...... awful. I mean major leauge WHAT THE HELL.

Well, a couple of my favorites are Spice and Wolf, Ergo Proxy and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (that last one should have been on your list in the first place, mind you).

Fullmetal Brotherhood (Till most recent)
Episode 62 gave me goosebumps. Damn it was excellent.

Is code geass more than an incredibly skinny guy in a funny suit? I was thinking about watching it but the way the characters look made me think about it.
Judging by what you've seen so far, I think you'll like Code Geass. It has plenty of action, and a great story with twists on par with Death Note.

I'd suggest Wolfs Rain and S-CRY-Ed.

Wolf Rain is beautiful in story, art and sound. It's one of my favorites. The characters are all very well developed.

S-CRY-Ed is a little older, but still has a great story with awesome action.

Wait, are you saying that you want more naime to watch on the grounds that it's anime?

That would be like me playing ET on the Atari 2600 just because it's a game or watching Battlefield Earth because it's a film.

But if this isn't the case you'd have to share your interests first.
Anime generally has ALOT better storylines than most TV shows, so thats why I watch it.

Arnold J smeghead (See what I did there? I don't mean it :p)
Well thankyou for that little reference, but like I said due to the fact that I have watched a bit of anime in the past and I have a mate that never shuts up about it I could help you but I'd need to know what your interests are.

Let's say that you loved cyberpunk but hated steampunk and I loved steampunk but hated cyberpunk, I'd be all like "Hey have you seen that movie steamboy, that's pretty good" but then you'd go out, rent it, not like it and then come at me with pitchfork and torch in hand.

So perhaps you should state some general interests of yours like, let's just say big robots, lads with swords and fetishized schoolgirls (Because even someone like me could label a few hundred there).

Higurashi no naku koro ni (and the second season, Kai) - Really bloody and violent murder mystery, sort of.

Ookami to Koushinryou (Wolf and Spice) - A masterpiece. I was hesitant to watch it at first since it sounded kind of dull. Dude wanders around selling stuff with a wolf god. Its not. Its amazing.

Baccano - for the sake of simplicity I'll just say its about a train robbery gone horribly wrong.

Durarara - Its about...well I think its easier if you just watch it. Also do NOT watch until you've watched Baccano (they're made by the same people) because you will miss out on the single greatest joke ever.

Haruhi - Another one of those shows that sounds lame but isn't. Its about a weird girl.

Claymore - About a bunch of superhuman warrior girls fighting Ogre monsters.

Black Lagoon - currently two seasons long with a short third one on the way. Its about a dude who gets fucked over by his job and basically joins a group of pirates. Awesome action.

And if you want to try something a little different:

Lucky Star - Funny but you'll miss out on a lot of the jokes if you don't know certain things about Japan.

K-On - Schoolgirls make a band and play music. Its a guilty pleasure of mine.

B Gata H Kei - Just ended. Oh my god is this series fucking hilarious. I watched it when I was very bored and had nothing to do. Best accidental discovery ever.

Also I guess I really should have put Ookami to Koushinryou down here since its not really action oriented but yeah seriously, watch that.

Most everything I could recommend has been said already, save one: Black Lagoon.

I think what made me like this one so much is how it manages to balance an insane amount of kinetic energy with just enough character development to keep you interested in the outcome of the gunfights. It slows down when necessary in order to flesh out the story, but also turns at just the right moments into break-neck action. And seriously, a show that has a boat ramping off the wreck of another boat to shoot down a helicopter with a torpedo simply cannot be criticized.

Edit: ninja'd

Sorry :(

But yeah that show kicks ass. The third season was supposed to start today but it was delayed :(

Also I love when they go to Japan and suddenly all the voice actors are forced to speak in hilarious Engrish for an entire arc. It was awesome.

I don't really watch anime. The closest thing I watch is the Boondocks, and if you haven't seen that show then you should rectify that problem.

Too bad that whole arc was depressing and kinda confusing. Ah well. The very end when Revy and Eda are talking is absolutely priceless.

Ok, need to keep going on my anime high.

So far (That I can remember) :

Cowboy Bebop
Hellsing
Hellsing ulti (Till most recent)
Fullmetal alchemist
Fullmetal Brotherhood (Till most recent)
Toppa Tengen Gurren Lagann
Innocent venus (So totally NOT a prono :p)
Coyote ragtime show (Hey, I got it for free from an expo, ok?)
Death Note
Naruto(Till most recent)
One Piece(Till most recent)
Elfen Lied
D.Gray-Man
Neon Genesis Evangenlion

Now, help feed my addiction, I need similar-ish, or just anything good. Preferably one that ends, I don't want another weekly watcher :p
Gantz (Manga)
Black Blood Brothers (11 eps)
Gundam Wing (49 eps)
Noir (26 eps)
Black Lagoon (24 eps)

That's it. I won't bombard you, those are all good, but a word of warning, while all action packed, Noir has a fair bit of dialogue (as well as the highest body count I've seen in an anime) and Gundam Wing is quite political (but is full of action).

EDIT: Baccano!
