Yeah, I'm sure the detention was just bad luck on your part, nothing to do with sadism at all... :p

Wait? detention? If that happened at my school you would probably have been hung, drawn and quartered. But then my area is a little backwards...
He started it.
My bones are just basically indestructable.

HURGH MANLY BONES

Even had to climb back up afterwards.

I made a quick friendly joke about one of my sergeants, too bad he was mere feet behind me. I found myself doing a lot of extra PT that week. I actually got out of that lucky. And they say "Always keep your head on a swivel."
Like that bit in Black Hawk Down when the fat guy is goofing around and the Captain comes up behind him and he... yeah I'll shut up now...

I'm not actually sure.
He'd have been in trouble too, though.
Actually, I'd never have been in trouble, if he had broken mine.

So it was bad luck!
Oh yes, I feel so bad for you, not breaking your wrist and all.

My friend broke his leg in four different places, turning the whole thing 180 degrees in the socket, in a skiing accident.

Most awesome move. I'm going to apply this philosophy to every challenging situation I'm in from now on. You are my idol. Next time someone challenges me to fight I'm going to set myself on fire.

A friend of mine bought a Vauxhall Vectra 1.8l SRI a week ago. He crashed it and wrote it off 2 days ago. This is the 3rd car he has successfully fucked up within a year. We're calling him whiplash again. He hates it.

Also he may lose his driving license.

Courage the Cowardly dog? Please? I miss him...

Well, there was this one time when I finally got Brawl, and my Wii broke. Can't read discs or anything. I was really pissed.

So last weekend in my nearest big ish town (I live in the middle of no-where) some bloke went up into the town hall tower to adjust the clock, as he does every week. At the top of the tower he found a man who had hung himself using a beam and the trapdoor. As if the shock of seeing this wasn't bad enough, the poor bloke tripped, and fell through the trapdoor that the dead guy had used to top himself, landing on the floor at the bottom of the tower with broken legs and several broken ribs.

Pretty unlucky methinks.

So I ask, what's the most unlucky thing that you've ever heard of or experienced?

(and sorry about the title, I really am that uncreative)
That's terrible. Don't think I can even remotely come close to that. Poor guy. :(

This hurt to even read, poor kid no idea how unbearably painful that must have been.

Yeah, I think it was a shock to the whole town, 'cos nothing ever happens, and then bam!

At least the poor guy survived though :S
