I'd recommend it quite easily as its under £10 (if your from the uk) these days and there are some good mods lurking out there, just be careful as they can affect the stability, I would agree its not for everyone thoughReepNeep said:Stalker is a very good choice if you enjoy a slower pace and atmosphere in you fps. It was my favorite game to come out of last year, but I hesitate to recommend it because it is definetly not for everyone. Just know that with all the patches its quite stable now, which was by far the biggest strike against it at launch.
I couldn't recommend assassins creed myself, got bored of the repetitive game play quite quickly. Good idea for a game and well presented just not as well implemented as it could/should have been.ShyWinter said:Ace Combat 6 is lots of fun; I wasn't that big on jets before playing it. You should probably try Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, or Dead Rising. These aren't what I would call "new" but try them anyway.
That made me laugh, and I agree. There are some good games on the horizon. If you have not already, you can download the demo for Too Human. It actually reminded me of Diablo 2 in the Hack and Slash/RPG kinda way. The controls will take a little getting used to. There is also Soul Calibur 4 coming very soon (if you like that kind of game). Dead Space of coarse and Force unleashed if you are a Star Wars fan.T.H.O.R said:At least they're promising over 100 hours of gameplay with Fallout 3.
GTA IV had lots of content, but it was as drab, and repetitive as the missionary position.
