Damn doubleposts. Well that's it none of the cataclysm dances are horrible. I also love that dances are so important to everyone.

Yes because furries never existed in WoW or the general Warcraft lore at all before this [http://www.diablo3.com.au/wow/images/tauren/characters-tauren2.gif]. Nope. Not at all. [http://wow.incgamers.com/gallery/data/503/pandaren.jpg]

If you're trying to complain about "furries" in the Warcraft universe, you are many, many years too late. In addition you also have a hilariously bad definition of what defines a furry, which seems to be "something I find abhorrent because it seems designed to trick me into getting aroused by something not human"

It's an anthropomorphic wolf! What else could it possibly look like?
A pupmkin! It would surely be more worgenish if it was a pumpkin.

And what's wrong with the dance? All WoW dances were based on real-life 'cheesy' / popular dances. I do wonder tho, do they retain the dance in the human form or is human default dance kicking in ?

Well WoW is loaded (absolutely loaded) with pop culture references so this was a matter of time... I think WoW is trying to integrate itself into popular culture by doing all of this and trying to be part of it, and there has to be something for everyone for this to happen. Enjoy your massively popular game.

The dance isn't that bad though, if you are like me and you have never seen Lady Gaga perform it.

Well, I was going to say something along the lines of how this can't be that bad and that they used some Britney Spears dance (Toxic?) for the female Blood Elf dance (didn't like that either) but then I watched it.....

I can see that this will appeal to the furry voter, but yep, it doesn't really look right. Probably because the dance in itself isn't much cop really.

Just give all the females the Draenai female dance and be done with it. I liked that one.

But basically, what the commentator on that video said. Yep.

Have any of you ever heard of satire? I'm certainb they aren't really trying to be serious with any of the dances. Hello? Saturday Night Fever? The Macarena? Britteny Spears's Toxic? I think that Blizzard choosing this dance is them making fun of it. I don't think they're trying to promote it as good, but really, really bad. Hell, the only dance I think seriously works is the dwarf dance (both genders) and the troll dances. Orcs do MC Hammer and the Charleston! I think the reaction should be a hardy 'lol' or 'rofl' because that's what blizzard is doing. Showing they think the dance is horrible.

Exactly, though I rarely hear the same complaints about succubi and the like... which makes me question why anthros are ridiculed more than, say, humanoid demons...

Satire? I wouldn't quite go that far. Satire conjures up ideas of some form of wit an sophistication, not a "anthropomorphised female wolf" recreating a rather lame dance from a pop video.

If this qualifies as satire, we may start calling the likes of Vampires Suck and Disaster Movie satire as well. God help us all then.

That doesn't look like a werewolf that exists in the World of Warcraft Universe. It would be completely tonally out of place. It's supposed to look like a cartoon humanoid female wolf - however, I'm not entirely sure why the Warcraft wolf is so offensive yet that isn't? There's certainly a 'darker' animation style in your example, but distinct feminine features covered in fur, looking pretty humanoid with wolfish aspect.

So what? Its obviously still inferior to the Orc's mad dance skills.

And besides, I think ya'll just got trolled by Bliz, who's probably going "lolz" right this second.
