Personally, I'm hoping that it's a sequel to the Hollywood Godzilla movie, just so I can see the news reports about emergency rooms clogged with film buffs begging for a mercy kill.

GOD! WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN US?

Can someone please start breaking the kneecaps of every Hollywood fuck who thinks raping old franchises is a good idea?
I am half expecting to hear its directed by Michael Bay.
Although, it could be right up Kevin Smiths alley.

Okay, normally I'm facepalming when I see things like this. But normally it's a trailer for a remake or an unnecessary prequel starring completely different actors. What this appears to be is a legitimate sequel with the same actors, and the idea of seeing how Ferris turns out twenty-something years later isn't the worst thing I've ever heard.

I'll keep an eye on it.

From what I read, it's actually an advertisement for some sort of super bowl commercial featuring Ferris Bueller...

I certainly hope so. That movie had a conclusion. Dragging it back now after all this time... >.<

I was ready to say this is a terrible idea, and then I see Matthew Broderick
opening up the curtains like he did in the 80s and now I think 'this'll be awesome' just, make it the only sequel, if he does this again in another 30 years saying 'how can I handle being in a home on a day like today?' that'll be horrible. This could be great, and so soon? they must've kept it tightly under wraps.

Now I'm torn on the idea of this.

The nostalgia critic in me is just shaking is his head in disappointment at this cash-in, but at the same time, my childhood is just cheering for it.

John Hughes is rolling around in his grave.

Then agian, he was also the one who wrote the script for Baby's Day out.

OT: I don't really buy this though, it seems more like a goof than an actual teaser trailer.
