I went to the Rory Gallagher Tribute Festival last weekend. It was probably one of the best festivals I've ever been to. Very different to any festival I've ever been to as all the stages are set up in the streets of a small town.
I'd love to go to Hellfest in France though, it has probably got my favourite lineup [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hellfest_Summer_Open_Air#2011_.28June_17.E2.80.9319.29] I've ever seen. It may be like a cheaper version of Download (with some better acts if you ask me) but I still don't have the money for it.

I'd love to do Leeds, since I live in the city for university (well, until the end of the month, given I've just finished uni for good now), but can't really afford it. Never done a festival before actually, but this year it's my 21st birthday which falls right on the same weekend as the V Festival, so my parents have got me and my brother tickets and most of the camping stuff I'll need (which I can also reuse when I decide to go to Wales or Scotland for a weekend if I get the time and money to do so), as a birthday present. Still can't remember the lineup to be honest, I keep meaning to look it up and forgetting... in fact, I'll do it right now while I'm thinking about it! :p

Yep, thats the one I was at, and I highly recommend it. Even if your not a fan of Rory Gallagher himself, if you like blues music you will love it.
